  1. Need to launch a sister fund to Burnt Ends for that cause, Burnt Brisket.
  2. I remember the majority opinion being more than happy to see him go, now we’re worried about him at TCU? Obviously our changes are still pending but no consternation here. What happened to his coaching career though lmao
  3. Disagree, there's always room for taking in joy in Oklahoma's misery
  4. They already have an at least very good to potentially elite QB in Dart which is why Slovis transferred out.

  6. Seriously, there's been some bizarre/hilarious projection going on here recently since the Tyler Johnson stuff with people questioning how much specific kids like football or how selfish they are if they'd leave the state or if they have any leadership qualities. All of which they'd never be privy to, but it's very on brand for the board.
  7. Agreed, frankly the best thing him transferring does for us is take up a spot so that someone else at that tier might end up sliding to us.
  8. We definitely offered during his recruitment, don't think he even visited though.
  9. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/insider/story/_/id/32518443/newcomer-impact-rankings-which-college-basketball-freshmen-transfers-lead-teams-2021-22 3. Marcus Carr, Texas (transfer): Carr is the headliner of Texas' transfer-heavy squad this season. He earned third-team All-Big Ten honors at Minnesota last season and will have the ball in his hands from day one in Austin. 17. Tre Mitchell, Texas (transfer): In terms of skill and potential, Mitchell should be one of the best big men in the country. He dominated the Atlantic 10 for two seasons with UMass and hopes to carry that over to the Big 12. Put up 18.8 points last season. 47. Dylan Disu, Texas (transfer): Disu is the X-factor for Texas this season. He's been limited after undergoing knee surgery in February, but he averaged 15.0 points and 9.2 rebounds at Vanderbilt and brings physicality and size inside. 56. Timmy Allen, Texas (transfer): With the Longhorns' depth in the backcourt and in the post, Allen might not see the same role he had last season at Utah -- but he's extremely versatile and averaged 17.2 points and 3.9 assists while earning first-team all-league honors.
  10. She'd smoke Kaycee, but apparently production fucked her over when she agreed to be an alternate a couple seasons ago and they didn't get her on, so she missed filming something else and is now done with the Challenge. Someone else can correct me on that. Also, Laurel would demolish Kaycee.
  11. Basketball blogger that is prominent because nobody really writes about Texas basketball that got known for writing on one/both of the SBNation sites. Defended Shaka way too hard and long and hates Beard for his style of play which is fair if you're going from a good offensive coach to him but we're not.
  12. You're right on Brown, outside of him, since he took over the only other ones that fit that mold whatsoever are Gerald Liddell, Tevin Mack, and Jordan Barnett. All of whom ran the fuck away from him.
  13. This is the kind of player Shaka just did not recruit whatsoever for absolutely no reason and that Leonard Hamilton has destroyed teams with recently, which is why FSU were in it for him. Big, switchable forward with length and projectable skills. Seems pretty damn obvious with the direction of the NBA but apparently not to Shaka.
