  1. If I were a Democratic politician I would be assailing the Foster care system managed by Republicans in a manner that suggest they do not really give a damn about unwanted kids. I would turn nearly every questions to it. Because in Texas it is indefensible how atrocious the system is and how ripe with abuse it is and has been for years. Without little or no response from Republican legislators, because they honestly do not care about kids once they are here. I would point out that they personally have neither adopted nor fostered one of the unwanted children they profess with words to care about. Where are the deeds?
  2. So I guess it would be cruel to point out that if A&M were in the Big 12 they would only be ahead of.... Instead I think we celebrate Aggie Achievements! I will celebrate along side my Aggie brethren, the exciting day when A&M 2023 recruiting is again listed on the front page of 24/7's 2023 team recruiting rankings. Mainly because the main thing I like for Aggies to have is hope. Without hope, there is no fun in seeing it dashed. 😉
  3. I think if you are going to use Hamm's service and you are a high school kid ONLY do this if you parents have a pool. Pool cleaning will be the one thing Hamm will have to work off his potential legal settlement.
  4. This is a kid I really want to see. He reminds me so much of Casey Hampton except he is a couple inches taller. Now it's always a stretch to compare as incoming freshman, to a great like Casey Hampton. But that's what the internet is for! But this kid seems to have the athleticism as well as Casey's bowling ball physique, again on a larger frame. So damnit, I can dream, and so can Sydir! I sure as hell hope that in a year or two the kid's nickname is "BiG Casey!"
  5. I will say this for the 100th time. There is no purpose or use of an AR/AK/SKS in the US other that the purpose the gun was intended to fill, to kill people. Anyone who says differently is a fucking liar. I guess in good news for the police endlessly pumping rounds into unarmed black men, is that there are now enough mass shootings by young angry white men to actually help distract from the police shooting. So see... if you look hard enough there is a "silver lining."🤮
  6. Now that would totally be a thing on TexAgs... After a pregame Elephant Walk...
  7. Boom and Boom and Boom! Welcome to the family and great things to come. What starts here changes the World!
  8. I especially liked " and can't stand seeing us doing what we are doing." Exactly WTF has A&M Done? Beaten Alabama twice in the last decade, and never sniffed a birth in the Championship game? Who the fuck would want to emulate that?
  9. Strange this "disappointment" of not seeing another welcome on the front page. Then I thought "don't be spoiled A-hole!" Then I thought, "We are killing it dummy!" Then I saw a homeless person begging on the street, and I thought "It could be worse. It can always be worse!" Then I thought... "SEC, SEC, SEC, A&M... and I smiled...."
  10. Well I saw that in Austin the Randall's have Choice brisket for $2.47/lb. But when I looked online I defaulted to a Houston Randall's on Memorial Drive. And Mofo, in Houston the exact same brisket is $1.87/lb! Why am I getting over a 30% additional markup on the same product in Austin. I thought about real estate pricing, but Memorial Drive in Houston is comparable to Braker/Jollyville in Austin. Anyhow I was happy to see $2.47 on sale, would be happier with $1.87 though.
  11. The real problem is that Republicans cheat because they know they are a minority party. There is a reason they changed the rules, because it was the only way they could win. The GOP today simply believes so firmly that minority views are held by a majority (falsely in case you are a confused Republican) that there is no principle or ethical code not worth breaking "for the greater good." Which means the Republican Party is at best a party that cares not about the constitution nor democracy. And that is the BEST scenario. The worst scenario is read back about brownshirts and an elected official named Hitler worked out when he was democratically elected. Sadly the court is what it is, as stacked with minority opinion membership placed because of a complete lack of ethics or sense of fair play.
  12. I thought that most debts fall off your credit report after like 7 years. Or at least I thought that was the case years ago.
  13. and Another! Boom! Welcome to the family playmaker!
  14. Almost exactly what those fucking dumbasses did with coaching raises and extensions. Not a surprise they overextended themselves because they did not fucking understand the game. That is sort of Aggieness in a nutshell isn't it?
  15. One more for the good guys. Sort of funny for me the last few days, I assume no fucking way another stud (LIKE BILLY WALTON!!!!!) is wanting to ride along. And mofo, another welcome mat rolled out! Welcome aboard Billy! Gotta be fun as a young man coming together with a bunch of other like minded young men, trying to rebuild a brand that is second to none. Got to be exciting! Hook'em!
  16. Just be the cool guy and tape the game and run it off your phone. That's one of the things I must admit I do like about my Direct TV streaming package. I can watch live or from tape. Don't think I can cast tape off phone.
  17. The only thing the January 6th Bi-Partisan Select Committee can do is present a case to the public. There is about 40% of the voting public that is gullible as shit and couldn't pass a freshman ethics or logic class if their lives depended on it. These Republicans are unreachable, because they PREFER to believe lies than ever take a second seeking the truth. So what the Committee is trying to do is show more the depth and breadth of the coup. Show how not only was Trump as corrupt as everyone (even his supporters) know him to be. The use of the mechanizations of government corrupted from the top, are what the show is. Interestingly I think that in a closely divided nation you are more likely than not to look at this point in time and see an irreparable shift away from the Republican party by young people. It's possible that inflation can carry the GOP as politicos would expect. While that is still the most likely scenario there is another scenario playing itself. Freedom loving Americans, (not the fake ME Freedom flag waving fakes) will recognize the dangers that the GOP poses. IF you are a woman and you see your individual rights being taken away, and also seeing the corruption so fulling integrated into the national Republican party via these hearings, are you gonna vote for Trump and Co? Even if gas is high as shit? I don't think so. But most importantly what right now does the Republican party have that appeals to young people that don't have a predisposition towards bigotry and racism, or simply voting trust fund wallet purely. What's the draw? Old white men? The Committee will show more of the clear and present danger and corruption Trump and all his minions were and are to democracy. The only folks that may be influenced are the thinking public. So that leaves out about the 40% of the voting population that are part of a cult based on never ending lies and rationalizations. Young kids can see this shit. So the GOP may indeed win the mid-term, but I think that the GOP is corrupt, is a message that will ring factually true to probably the other 60% of the non-cult member voting public. I also think it's good to pop something out for the long weekend. I guess the other reason I like the committee, is that at least they are trying to let the public know the truth.
  18. The reason you know that being against abortion is NOT pro-child, it is about judgement, and puritanical christian values having priority. Again NOT the child. IF ithe Republican party as a whole gave a damn about children ALL the statistical information you can find on the internet would not point to THE EXACT FUCKING OPPOSITE! They love abortion as a political issue, but car simply do not care about the children in their care. When you look at the overlay for zero tolerance for abortion you see complete acceptance of all sorts of other conditions for children that simply show they don't really care. If Republicans did care there would not be kids in the foster system as all the loving pro-lifers would be scooping up these loving souls. Wouldn't they? Here are a few maps showing how much Republican led states care about their children. The worst states to be a kid in America And in case you were wondering about the head count on the unadopted but supposedly loved and sacred by millions upon millions of Republicans?
  19. We basically have had a 200 year game of Monopoly with the Supreme Court. Then the Republicans changed the rules on "principle" not once but twice to stack the court. Minority views are going to rule the United States for a long time, unless folks wake up and realize how fundamentally dangerous the Republican party is to personal freedom of everyone except AR carrying mass murderers. The only way to fix the court is to expand it, because it is already packed.
  20. Honestly. If I really wanted to hit the road full time, I think the Super C's are the bomb. Big lift for off road clearance, and the potential for a big enough foot print, to truly be comfortable. Then pull a nice 4x4 behind it. IF I were going to build from scratch I would be looking at aluminum studs to frame it out and save al the weight I could. I guess you could do it like a boat and fiberglass the exterior? I have thought about doing this. Simply as folks geek so hard for the Airstreams. I have a buddy with a large warehouse that is a clutter magnet, and I am trying to get him to let me help him, put up some pallet racking and get shit off the floor. THEN and airstream would fit inside and I would have a clean dry place to work on one all winter. I guess the real money is finding the rig, learning the tricks, then sell it and do it again. Hmmm.... I wondered if you could use some of the Real Estate investing advantages like a 1031 exchange to avoid capital gains, and it looks like you can as long as you go RV for RV. Seems like you have to rent it out though to use the exchange. Anyhow, Once you have done one Airstream probably easy to do a second one. Are you ready for you Airstream Rental Fleet? 😉
  21. Not sure how much taller he will get, but this training device surely should provide additional wingspan!
  22. This is simply Trump trying to set up his defense. I am such a fucking moron that no many how many people told me the truth, or showed me the clear evidence that I lost the election, I "still believed" I won. Trump is simply trying to say that "I have no culpability" as I am so mentally unbalanced that I never, ever believe the truth. Because I believe I won, and that's that! He isn't saying he didn't lose. If you look closely, he is saying he "always believed" he won, despite no evidence at all that he won, and it wasn't even close.
  23. Just went to the Fox News website. No mention at all anywhere on the site about the January 6th Committee. Too bad Newt Gingrich was such a scumbag that he spearheaded allowing foreign ownership of broadcast TV stations. Before then foreign ownership was prohibited. Now we have a foreign controlled (yes I know they became US citizens strictly for tax purposes) that caters to lying to the right wing for money. Not one fucking mention at all. Imagine going through your life terrified of the Truth creeping in? Must suck to be Republican. Voting alongside Nazi's, White Nationalists, Proud Boys, as well as a rich assortment of bigots, garden variety white trash racists, and traitors would bother a lot of folks.
  24. Something about the Texans being last, just rubs me the wrong way...
