  1. Interesting that is seems Mark is only important because of Gemma.
  2. Paul has had a good season and would help this squad in the playoffs
  3. “The entitlement would blow your mind, just awful people” - family in the biz behind the camera for a couple of decades.
  4. Thic BDH standing by
  5. V10s? Yes please https://x.com/autosport/status/1892880413695082943
  6. Fuck the Spurs
  7. One of my favorite topping combinations. I add the blu cheese after cooking for a stronger blue cheese flavor.
  8. Did JP France Die?
  9. Maybe we get to see market value sooner than later WNBPA executive director Terri Jackson said last July that the league is being undervalued in the deal, which was negotiated by the NBA, which owns about 60% of the WNBA. "I think we're ready for a spin-off [from the NBA]," Kane told ESPN. "I just think that the NBA is incentivized to make decisions that are good for the NBA, and those are not always aligned with what's good for the WNBA. And so, for the sake of the league that I work in, I want women and women's basketball to be able to make clean, clear choices that are in their own best interest." https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/43890753/agent-fever-caitlin-clark-wnba-players-deserve-higher-pay
  10. The average salary for a WNBA player in 2024–2025 is $119,590 As of February 2025, the average salary for an NHL player is $123,905 per year As of February 2025, the average salary for a NASCAR driver in the US is between $78,621 and $95,561, depending on the source. As of February 2025, the average salary for a PGA golf professional in the United States is $39,218 per year The average UFC fighter salary is around $68,448 per year, but this number can vary widely The 75th percentile of UFC fighters make around $78,500 per year. The top earners make around $112,000 per year. NBA,NFL,MLB, MLS all above And none of the above: The WNBA is projected to lose around $40 million in the 2024 season, according to the New York Post.
  11. They do need to reach that level when they are being paid like they have that level of support. At some point, the multi-million dollar annual losses will no longer be sustainable (losses expected to grow again this season). They are not a AAA club playing to 5,000 seat stadiums and traveling by bus.
  12. Rewatch of Vanilla Sky... My god Penelope Curz is ridiculously gorgeous. Ending sucked, but enjoyable. Nothing to lose, didn't realize these two fucking legends were working together
  13. Friend group posted this recently, bullshit or not? Learned something new. All fha and veteran loan are assumable. Meaning if someone is selling their house for 300k and they owe 200k at 3% you can take that over as loan as you bring the difference or a loan for the difference
  14. In fairness the jump in viewership can be traced directly to games involving CC last season. Her games were nearly responsible for the entire percentage jump. An ACL injury would be devastating for the league. The biggest growth potential for sustained success is to start chasing the female viewer instead of basketball fans. Prior to last season, their biggest fan demographic was old dudes (probably dads who grew up watching their daughters play or it’s their fetish).
  15. Guessing losing Tucker, Bregman, JV and Ryan all in one offseason has the most to do with it.
  16. Reminds me of a James Harden starter kit. Athletic but not the most explosive. Strong as hell, shot maker/creator at all three levels.
  17. Give credit. Kid was fucking nails. Hit every dunk first try and had solid creativity
  18. Tre and Mark, that is the offense. The rest need to hustle, play D and rebound. It’s our best option.
  19. The pressure will be on to prove a top 5 contract AAV is warranted. That kind of money should demand 2019 Bregman numbers not 2024. If he opts out and signs a 5/150 after a good season he still comes out ahead.
