  1. Assuming you don’t live 30+ miles away from the local ABC broadcast tower, a pair of old rabbit ears will pick up the game. If no rabbit ears, any cheap store bought antenna will do the trick. You don’t need cable or a streaming service for the broadcast networks if you live in a town or city big enough to have a local ABC affiliate station
  2. This right here. Use red potatoes, quarter them, boil until just soft enough to break apart - around 15 minutes. You over cook them they have too much water content Add a ton of butter, salt and a little pepper, start mashing or whipping. Add cream or half and half in small quantities and continue mashing. Test the consistency. Too thick for you, add a little more cream or half and half until you get the consistency you like. Seriously, great mashed potatoes are easy to accomplish. Good luck, OP.
  3. He should get fat Daylon Mack’s father to print the shirts. Dad has plenty of prior experience with stupid trademarks.
  4. Crisco is the only shortening my wife will use when baking.
  5. Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear. Make the BUTTERMILK version.
  6. All right, use this recipe from an old Better Homes and Garden Cookbook. This is my wife’s ( no pics, you degenerate bastards) go-to recipe. Put a big hunk of butter in the cake pan or casserole dish, put it in the pre-heated oven for about 5 minutes, then drag the cut out biscuits through the butter- both sides. Arrange your biscuits- touching, then bake. Make sure they get good and brown on the top side. Good with butter, honey, cream gravy.
  7. Special occasions for me and my wife ( no pics, you degenerate bastards ), I like to take a 2 to 2 1/2 inch prime ribeye, slice it down the middle, grill it hot for two to three minutes per side, then cover it in a crawfish cream sauce.
  8. 2016 he had Hillary 67% on Election Day. Nice call. This morning he had Biden 89 out of 100 - or 89% chance the way any rational lay person would read it. It doesn’t appear that the race was anywhere near what he said it was. It should have been a walk in the park for Biden, according to him. Oh, yeah, blah blah, his methods, his 40,000 simulations. Bullshit. He doesn’t know dick.
  9. I don’t get how “significant delays” could take 9 days mailing a piece of mail to a local polling place. Or, heck, even to a state capitol. Most ballots mailed on Election Day will be counted within a couple of days.
  10. Dammit, I seem to have imbibed a little too much this evening. Had to scrounge a suitable snack that might mitigate the inevitable hangover. I present for your viewing pleasure my Chappell Hill Sausage sandwich on garlic Texas toast, with ranch dressing.
  11. I just remembered that I snapped this photo a couple of years ago. Actually 3 years ago. I Imagine he was so proud driving around and busting Longhorn balls with his license plate in Cypress, TX in 2017. (They went 7-6 that year.)
  12. I use this recipe for Chicken and Sausage etouffee. Pretty darn good. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/chicken-and-smoked-sausage-etouffee-recipe-1948477.amp
  13. Good catch. My bad, I read it wrong. Nevertheless, it would be a 33% increase. Not 133%. Yes, 33% increase will be interesting to see how it shakes out.
  14. You are correct, sir. You are definitely not a math genius. Start with 12M, add 3M. That would be a 25% increase.
  15. My BAT sandwich. Homemade peppered buckboard bacon, avocado, tomato. With mayo.
  16. Hey, hey, I’m a baseball purist and encyclopedist that can’t stand the fact that the Astros invented cheating in MLB, yet I somehow didn’t know the A’s won a playoff series during my lifetime. So sue me. That doesn’t invalidate the fact that I really hate the Astros and want to denigrate every victory that they pile up. It’s just not fair. Boo hoo.
  17. My euphemism is “I’m drunk”, but y’all do y’all. Fleck reminds me of Jim Wacker, who also coached at Minnesota. Wacker was a master at Rah Rah, pump you up BS, similar to Fleck. And, of course, Wacker had great success- NAIA Championships at TX Lutheran and Division II National Championships at SWTSU. His shtick didn’t play as well at P5 schools - had initial success at TCU before revelations of payments to players, then washed out at Minnesota. Do not want.
  18. Exactly. The SEC, SEC is fittin to get swamped with the same style of play that we’ve been playing for years. Some of those teams are going to get smacked hard in the kisser before they know what hit them like LSU did.
