  1. This was perfect, and perfect timing as well. Ha ha ha ha ha ha
  2. Well, that certainly clears that up. Case closed.
  3. Not so fast, my friend. Hinch had 89 wins as the Arizona Diamondbacks manager. So, by my reckoning, Marisnick has been in the lineup for the 1st and 411th win of Hinch’s Astros career. Great accomplishment for Hinch. Here’s to hundreds more as Astros manager. Damnit, WBT beat me to it.
  4. It doesn’t make a shit. Adrian Peterson spurned us because he wanted to win a championship. How did that work out for him? We’ll be fine. “As the nation's consensus national player of the year and No. 1 recruit, Peterson jilted the home-state 'Horns at least in part because of Sooner superiority in big games. "One of my goals is to win a national championship," Peterson said before signing day in 2004. "(The Longhorns) haven't proven to me that they can do that."
  5. Pressley first run in 41 games, Osuna 1st blown save the next night. They got it out of their systems, and we still beat those bitches both nights. Fuck the cocksucking Red Sox
  6. Exactly. Tough early schedule. All is well
  7. Oh, come on Sack. It’s funny. Those Ranger fans were insufferable in the early to mid 2010s. Lording over us their World Series appearances.
  8. Is that good? It seems like it’s good.
  9. Yeah, Harden has been taking the air out of the ball. That is not the Rocket’s best look
  10. Crap. Now that Curry has to be the man, he’s acting like the man again.
  11. We went 18-14 running the gauntlet of early hot teams. And 3-0 so far against the not-so-good teams. All is well.
  12. These guys are so fucking good. Both teams. I’m enjoying watching this. Pulling for the Rockets, but this is fun to watch.
  13. You can’t go. All the plants are gonna die.
  14. I pay taxes to 10 different taxing authorities, and receive homeowners exemptions (in the form of lowered assessed value) from 7 of them, thus lowering the amount of taxes paid to those authorities. In my example with O’Connor, they are assuming that I will be paying the tax rate of each taxing authority on 100% of the assed value. When in fact I won’t be. They bill based on no homeowners exemptions.
  15. I use O’Connor and Associates to protest every year. They’ve already had the hearing, and instead of an $18,000 increase for 2019, it was knocked back to a $6,000 increase. Received their bill, which they claim is 50% of the tax savings. Once again, I made a call to point out that they didn’t use my homestead exemption in their calculations, and once again, they are going to generate a corrected bill. This year the difference isn’t a large amount of money, but to me it’s the principle of the thing. It’s the 3rd year out of the last 5 that they’ve won for me, and every time they’ve had to correct their bill. I imagine most people don’t run the numbers and don’t catch it, so the company is most likely taking in millions in fees that they really shouldn’t. TLDR: after receiving a bill from one of the tax protest companies, run the numbers yourself to see if they are actually saving you what they say they are.
  16. Stupid turnovers killed the Rockets tonight. Plain and simple.
  17. Kevin Durant as a point guard is nightmare type shit. And still the Rockets are hanging around. Still got a chance.
