  1. As a young man I used to go to a lot of Astros games in the Dome. In the late ‘70’s I could sit in the Yellow section directly behind home plate for $3. Pretty high up, but a good perspective. Saw Ken Forsch pitch a no-hitter in the second game of the season in 1979 from up there. Good times, indeed.
  2. Fuck the goddamn sand aggies, but fuck Michigan more.
  3. That is awesome. Still, back then - ok - $3 - not that big of a deal. I remember. But now? $20, $30, hell, for game 3 of the World Series we paid $60.
  4. Matt Galante was tasked to teach Biggio 2nd base in 1992. Doran came back to help after having been traded a couple of years earlier. Biggio gives Galante most of the credit. But Biggio was a hell of an athlete to be able to switch from a Major League catcher to a Major League 2nd baseman. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/astros/amp/How-Matt-Galante-turned-Craig-Biggio-into-a-6401507.php
  5. Jake with a walk and a single. Works for me.
  6. Ex-Astro Tuffy Rhodes would like a word with you. Ha ha https://www.google.com/amp/s/ftw.usatoday.com/2015/04/karl-tuffy-rhodes-opening-day-three-home-runs-1994-npb-japan-mlb/amp
  7. Verlander’s got a hell of a lot of movement on his breaking balls today.
  8. I’m looking for George to lead off this season like he has the last 2. I’m ready for some baseball.
  9. You’re God Damn right. Closing out the World Series in 2017 is worth any potential damage he could inflict on us now. I take that trade off any day.
  10. We gonna murderize them like Vince did in 2005. Oh, who am I kidding? It’s going to be a one possession game with 10 seconds to go.
  11. With that preponderance of evidence, he’s not long for this world.
  12. He’ll, they’ve got damn near everyone’s information already. Facebook will be fine. They’ll just partner up with Skynet and rule the world. Profit.
  13. Ha ha. I should have cut Monsieur Rick, but we needed those letters of transit.
  14. Just as an anecdote, my 89 year old father-in-law has often told me the story of being a high school student at Concordia in the early ‘40’s and getting their asses kicked by the TSD team on the football field. He said he and his teammates expected an easy win and were shocked at getting rolled by TSD.
