  1. The only thing missing from that report is a quote similar to ”It depends upon what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” That’s the tortured nature of their “justifications” or rationalizations for not shit-canning UM. Wiped his phone to erase evidence of wrongdoing? That’s a fireable offense damn near anywhere. Except in Jortville, apparently.
  2. Hey, Bill, you need to listen to the new Surly podcast. They discuss your bourbon choices - game by game.
  3. I know it’s a small sample size, but maybe you will reevaluate after looking at his numbers. He has been far from awful. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/pressry01.shtml
  4. Enjoyed that. Would like to hear more stories about the old times and old posters. Derka story was funny. immamac, you sounded fine. It was Blacklab that sounded like he was in a hole. Get him a mic.
  5. Finally scoring some runs again. Nice to see Marwin heating up. We’re going to get back on track.
  6. Yeah, that’s what I remember - the inconsistency. And the missed pat against Cal in 2015. Motherfucker.
  7. Nick Rose had no problem with the 35 yard extra point. I never would have imagined that he would be getting some run in the NFL.
  8. Yeah, they keep pounding home the point that they are volunteers, but damn, these umps need to get their head out of their asses. I’ve never umped a game in my life, but am pretty sure I could call a better game than that.
  9. There wasn’t a god damn thing about any angle that was “definitive”.
  10. *3rd round pick Nice to see him get a promotion
  11. I was trying to pay into the Treefiddy Club with Pay Pal Card Direct, but in big red letters I’m being told that the website is not secure. So I backed out. Don’t want to get hacked or get computer AIDS. For those of us that don’t have PayPal accounts, what’s the best, secure way to donate?
  12. All of this. ^^^ MD Anderson has been treating my 81 year old mother for lymphoma the last 12 years. She is in remission for the 3rd time. I am always amazed at the patients that I see and meet there - with their grace and determination under circumstances that would try anyone’s soul. Good luck to your friend, Brisket. I’m not sure there is any empirical evidence, but I agree with Pitt Tiger - a fighting spirit can go a long way, and talking about it with friends helps.
