  1. I can't find it, but when I first started reading shaggy this one old fella got mad at the mom jokes. Went on about how his mother died and was a great woman and that he didn't appreciate those types of jokes, and that his mom was a nurse who helped develop some of the course material for the UT nursing program or something. In true Shaggy/Surly fashion, the next reply was: "your mom nursed my cock last night." and I nearly died. I laugh at it to this day.
  2. Yah, quick google search shows sTrain is muscle/tendon related, sPrain being the ligament. I just remember a radio host I listened to who's an ex football player ranting about sprain vs. tear a few times, so hey I finally knew something.
  3. Absolutely. Normally "sprain" involves a small tear or stretching of the ligament, but it's definitely damage. Unless he was thinking "strain," which is not the case here.
  4. Apparently it was released last year on 09/21 siap, I'm on last page and don't see it:
  5. I would guess something more around two weeks on Sark saying he's "day to day" alone, based on what "day to day" normally means, plus the reports of Card/Wright taking the reps. But I'm still getting used to Sark-Speak. Day to Day doesn't literally mean he can be okay tomorrow in every case, but more that they're really not sure of a minimum time. It would normally suggest to me it's a lot about the uncertainty of pain management, healing time, further injury etc.. NFL guys labeled day to day immediately after a game might play that week, or it might be a couple of weeks. Just depends if they can get through a practice that week without any major complications that day and the next etc... Rarely does an important player labeled "Day to day" go beyond three weeks unless there is a major setback. By reports, it for sure wouldn't be this week. Official news between here and next Monday's press conference could shed some more light, hopefully.

    Western Novels

About 20% into Lonesome Dove. Read Dead Man's Walk and Comanche Moon first, so the "differences" in the past are interesting. I made laughing tears reading the part about the creation of the Hat Creek sign. A book has never done that to me.
  7. Get on the cloud or the fuck out the way, Snuggles.
  8. Not as many of them, but there are a lot more than you'd think. They are very offended by the idea that anyone could ever be better than them, even for two quarters.
  9. It's like he got drunk and started reminiscing about that time he came home and found CS Lewis in bed with his mom.
  10. I don't know what's worse: whatever the fuck she just made, or that some people actually believe that she is being serious and that it is a real roach.
  11. Yup, but don't touch the rice until it's done, or you're dead.
  12. We normally do half a can of tomato sauce, but my wife did the knorr tomate stuff last time. Not bad, not bad. Also keep some knorr chicken stuff for seasoning to taste after you get your seasonings and liquid in (if you think you're missing something). Can always tweak but you have a very short amount of time to do so.
  13. rice and a few chunks of onion and bell pepper browned in oil. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, tick of cumino, half a can of tomato sauce, can of chicken broth and the rest water to cover. cook and stuff
  14. Nah, a couple hundred miles further down the coast.
  15. Yah, it wouldn't have anything at all to do with the fact that Bijan has like 20 endorsement deals and has to choose which lambo he wants to drive around each day while aggy top players are getting whales adopted in their name or whatever the fuck their super duper secret NIL collective helps provide them...
  16. "Go through the secret door at the Dixie Chicken and the yell leader from like 30 years ago will give you a hand job. That's it. That's the NIL." That's why they're keeping it quiet, which -tbh- is some astonishing self-awareness form that bunch.
  17. It's aggy, they ain't know how to speak. Believe he means "I'm not saying which (A&M account)."
  18. Hell no. For me, if they get too crazy, I'll just hop off and set 'em off on a track somewhere.
  19. Have always enjoyed the idea of a micro skiff. Probably not crossing the bay on a rough chop, but perfect for stalking the flats and running protected. Granted, I don't fly fish (yet), but I'd roll along with a trolling motor casting as I went. Something like this, or a bit bigger, even (though they actually do have smaller).
