for reference, here are Sark's actual comments re: the QB competition going into 2022 (21:50)
In case you're not gunna watch it: the question included high school or transfer QB. Sark said yes, that you have to open it up, but it was kinda couched, with some bs about the competition helping to see where you (current QBs) are at.

He also can't say "yah I'm leaving" or "we'll see/no comment." here before Thanksgiving. Hope he stays, obviously.

Out of every Texas player the past 100 years, I'm gunna guess that ROJO is the LAST one we'd hear say "nah, not interested." That kid will play right tackle if he's asked to, and about 2/3 of the roster right now doesn't deserve to get dressed in the same locker room as him.

I don't have it but Roach is commenting about it on 247. Says it'll be hard to pull him from Dallas but also says he's heard A&M is a place he'd jump at. That would suck quite a lot.
It $houldn't be too hard for $omeone to pull him away from Dalla$.

Schooler is definitely a better tackler because he tackles another longhorn on almost every play.

Regarding the Longhorns: “I like the fact that they get Xavier (Worthy) targets. They just have to figure out the quarterback situation. No telling what the quarterback situation will be like next year, I feel like some stuff is about to change this offseason.”
Hmmm. I'd say that's a no brainer, but I'll take the gotdamn tease because I like the pain.

Nabors doesn’t have an offer, at least publicly on 247
He doesn't. I mean, I guess it's not out of the ordinary to see a team build momentum with a guy down the stretch, offer him and get the immediate flip and commit, but I'd be curious to know what clappy's hearing, or what I missed.

I'm feeling pretty, prettaaaaayyy good about 2022 QB, personally. At least the betting part of it.
How're you seeing the situation unfold there? Sorry if you've gone on about it prior to this week, I've been in the fetal position crying for a month.

Since I am on a role of scorching hot takes today I had one random thought cross my mind. What if the flip candidate was Jordan Hudson?
Rumor I have been hearing is that Dykes to TCU is done behind the scenes. If Dykes/Samples leaves there is no way Hudson sticks at SMU.
Problem is that Samples is likely going with Dykes, making TCU the flip-to.
Now obviously a lot of us would like to see Samples here, but I’d bet against that right now. -

Really looking forward to the end of the Brandon Harris era.

The Kansas one makes me mad. OU one is light, but loading the box in that situation isnt smart either. Biggest reason is Kansas is fucking slow. If you are worried about Kansas throwing over your head you have issues.
Exactly this. How many times vs OU or whoever have we gotten into that situation and they never intended to run, especially when we come out lined up heavy to stop it. And unfortunately you're correct about Kansas. It confuses me, too. Maybe he is stubborn like you guys say, but he can't be that dumb, overnight. Frustrating.
