The coaches could have poisoned the water worse than Jaydon had already done himself and made it clear to the team that they didn’t want him back. The show of hands may include a bunch of kids who didn’t want to piss of the coaches.
Not a positive no matter how you look at it, but I don’t hold high school coaches in high regard, either.
Shit's different these days. Back in my day, our parents would have said "He wants back on the team? Well fuck yah you let him back on the team we gotta win state!" Nowadays it's all, "oh, you're fine without him! You're great. Your whole team is great because y'all don't give up which is the only important part blacka yacka blargh"
The skipping out on your senior year thing may be new, but the attitude of taking care of yourself while being a part of a team isn't. A lot of those guys work out just fine, some don't. A lot of guys who aren't like that and are great athletes work out just fine. Some don't.

By Holgo hasn't worked out there after that Tilman Ferntits power move. Sort of surprised. UH in the American should be a pretty easy place to win. I mean, against their level of competition.
Any time a UH fan starts ragging on Texas, I have to remind them that their current head coach tanked a college football season, then sent his QB to Miami where this year he was listed near the top of preseason Heisman watch lists (granted that hasn't turned out, but: Miami).

I think he's obviously a better coach for offense, but holy hell he had Mayfield and Murray doing unbelievable shit out there. He did have 12 wins his first two years, but Stoops had just wrapped up two 11 win years himself. Now that we're seeing his rosters up there, it's not looking as good all around as it did under Stoops IMO. Not a finality or anything, but now we get to really see.
(also the Big 12 continuing to get worse, outside of Iowa Steak, didn't hurt any)

Tech back up qb columbi? That dude put up 3 big throws. Those throws were actually quite well placed and coverage wasn’t horrible. Pass rush needs to get there to prevent those.
Yah, those back to back TD throws were something. The one where we forced the receiver out of bounds, that one was just thrown at a good spot, and the defender tripped down the sideline, recovering just in time for Schooler to turn heel on him. The next one was just a GREAT throw. Coverage isn't bad when you're touching forearms with the guy down the field, but that Columbo or whatever dropped it right out on that receiver's fingers, where he had to chase the rabbit. It was money, sometimes you gotta just tip the cap. It's those mid-range completions I'm concerned about.

This kid has some of the most off-the-wall timing of any recruit I've ever seen.
Or maybe he’s easily mislead, as his name kinda almost suggests.
“Gunna hold off on my commitment coach.”
“What? We just beat SMU 70-35!”
“Coach that was Texas. Y’all lost to SMU..”
“Nah man they got the scores wrong on the ticker thing.”
“Oh ok lemme get my edit done.” -
