I thought Matt Anderson was from Columbus?
That’d be the Schobels. Pretty sure Matt Anderson wasn’t just confused when he’d come back to Cuero and pop in at school or practice, and we just tolerated it. -

If it helps our QB might have shoulder problems that won't allow him to throw too far.
I dunno the proper level to freak out about Malik. Will this affect him to where he can only throw at 80%, which is still farther than 99% of QBs? Or is this really really bad and we need to put out feelers to that Kielbasa kid or whatever over at Westlake?

We will see how Casey does but what this team is missing more than anything is a mean streak.
If Casey can avoid waltzing up the pocket and into a sack that doesn't have to be here, they're miles ahead of where they were. The dude could sit there and jack-off the entire time in film study with the coaches and other QBs looking on while Card aces every test in practice, but it's apparent that when he steps on the field he can see what's going on 10x better than what Card can right now.
As for a mean streak, that usually comes from when a coach can put the ball in his OLs hands and let 'em truck fucks up front on a drive or two to send a message. Or from a defense that can set the tone, who isn't tired from having to come back on the field every 90 seconds. We ain't there yet. Lort get us the right croots.

Damn, Arkansas killed this thread, too. Luckily Thompson has bigger hands.

Sending out the bat signal in cow town.
I just want to know what dad thought, seeing some kid celebrate a sack with "Brockermeyer" across the back of his burnt orange jersey. If you could get me that information, Barbacoa. Thanks

Now that Luke is starting they want to come here. Well, we need linemen.
I would imagine it's also a lot to do with them seeing the long road to starting at Bama, and how much fun big brother was having not being a backstabbing traitor this past Saturday... and a little backdoor crootin' going on via Luke through Sark etc... (no, not that kinda backdoor, future... yet).
Can't wait to see what some of our in-the-knowers hear

Any good, recent write-ups and/or takes from the media (excluding Bohls) as to how this Big 12 news affects the speed of Texas and OU's departure?

Reading this last page and it appears to be kool-aid season. Suddenly 9.95ers saying we lead for Stewart, Brenen, have a mystery flip listening and multiple portals.
We better not shit the bed tomorrow against our one SEC opponent of the year.

I went back and read Roach's post-morterm on that class and he said something to the effect that Watts and Texas/Herman just weren't a fit and both parties moved on.
Well when you're on a private jet with the coach and his wife tries to throw you out of the door at 37.4K feet, it's best everyone move on.
I think that's what happened anyway, I could be confusing stories.

Ha. I don't even know who this guy is. Just seems to fit. And have never been to CR (on either site), so I'd be pretty lost there, too.
That's the dude from Star Trek... wearing a cloak.

Latrael Cooper did as well.
Yah, but he was never the same after his injury. Kid was fire, then fucked up his knee in a scrimmage.

Yeah 3a then/4a now is quite crazy. I was looking at the all-state teams from my junior and senior seasons and it's crazy the guys that went d1 or NFL.
Some of the names from my time going into high school, high school, and just after:
Still upset with Cody (Wallace) for going to A&M. We were seniors his sophomore year when he started at center. We had Matt Anderson from Cuero starting for the Horns at center at the time, so of course our oline were fans. But for whatever reason a lot of our football guys from my class ended up going to A&M, including our starting tackles (not for football, just school), so I guess Cody tagged along two years later, only on scholly. Cody's good people.

I mean, isn't this a pretty big give away. Unless he's trolling, which he doesn't seem like the type.
Not that I believe he's picking Texas (or believe he isn't), but It's so obvious he's playing it up. I don't care what type of kid anyone thinks they know he is, he knows what he's doing here and is having fun with it. This is text book.

Signing quality players that we can develop is a good thing. I'm sorry that you don't like high 4-stars.
I mean holy fuck, I read that reply and had to go back and double check our past classes to make sure we weren't hauling in multiple 5 star DL every year...

The problem there is will just signing these guys be enough? And how much his commitment would move the needle there, but most importantly with '23 OL?
