A pair of Texas commitments in the 2023 class, Rueben Owens and Johntay Cook, have been recruiting Manning via group chat.

This will be fantastic if one of our OL recruits goes to a camp and blocks an entire defensive line for eight whole seconds. -

appears one or more of these CBs may be from yesterday, but just now posted by the TX CB twitter account. Knew something was up when someone hadn't beaten me too it.

Even if he doesn't reclassify, he's about 98.36% likely to enroll in January.
Running Backs should do this as much as possible.
Running Backs should go to college teams with a pipeline of RBs ahead of them, so they only have one big year, their junior year. Then they should go pro.
Running Backs should be paid for their production OUTSIDE of the salary cap.
HOOK'EM JAYDON BLUE !!!Whether I like it or not, I get what these kids are doing, especially RBs... but I wonder if at some point they run the risk of not having played enough football, or not getting enough reps/action, and if that could be a setback. I haven't thought that through a whole lot, just something that crossed my mind recently.

The $9.95ers are pussies and Texas is landing Denver Harris and has a great shot at Brooks.

Good shit, close!

Ugh. Idiots!
(ran out of edit time) But seriously, I went stalker mode on the kid two days back and dove into his twitter likes/favs. The kid likes just as many Longhorns tweets as Fuckeye, and it's not like he's going around liking/fav'ing shit from every school. It was just a reminder that the kid genuinely loves Texas, so hopefully that's enough to keep him in distance.... but if ctj's interpretation of the situation is correct, and the staff is "done" with him, then: A. That's stupid; B. Better the fuck land Manning.

Yah that wasn't the best pass I've ever seen Casey Thompson throw to some HS kid he's never played with, but I'm just here to say that the Alamo Bowl pass was absolutely not "severely" under-thrown. Thanks.

People keep saying this but he’s been receiving private training since he was like 8 years old. Maybe that trainer sucked, but he’s been a big time prospect since middle school, so I’m skeptical his issues are due to not receiving any high level training.
TBF he said no "decent" coaching, so it's possible that trainer blew ass when it came to how this guy needs to throw the ball. I don't care if you're 6'7, you're gunna have a higher percentage of balls getting batted down when you're throwing it from that slot.

They were talking about this on SiriusXM yesterday as well... and pretty much said it was smart.
Sure it's smart, from his perspective, if his goal right now is to get to college without suffering a major injury.

I'm not going to fault him on a character level, but I do think it's a red flag if you think he's going to give you his all at any level below the NFL.
Take your totalitarianism to the cloak room, racist!-

I'm not sure why it's a "kids today" rant versus viewing this kind of action as bullshit showing a lack of character. There is no honor in skipping a senior season of HS football and bailing out on your teammates because you think you've got some higher mission with the sport. There is no love or passion for the game from someone taking his kind of course. It comes across as empty and selfish and easy to root against. If that's not very woke of me, I don't give even the tiniest fuck.
Fuckin’ A right. I can get with why athletes do what they do these days, and understand that in the big scheme of things this is their career that we’re talking about and that they don’t really owe me or anyone else anything blah blah blah... but it doesn’t mean I have to like it and think “oh great wow so happy rn.”/“it’s his life!,” especially when it happens to the team I cheer for (like with some guys here last year). I’m not here because *insert player*
Oh nooo does that make me a... fan? -

I get a weird feeling too, but it's across all of college football. But I don't know your data points.
