  1. Facts and such are just obstacles to Koont Bowels. Nothing should interrupt the intestinal fluids he pumps out daily.
  2. Right. Coors Light is helpful if you are on a desert island with a kidney stone you want to flush and have nothing else.
  3. Tim Brando is an older version of FCB, who lives in a nursing home, and staff is sneaking him lots of booze.
  4. Seth Davis is a POS troll
  5. Marquette musta needed a great guy real bad....and also not had interwebs for the past decade, but whatever....thank you!
  6. But wait, you mean replace Shaka? No, he’s such a great guy. Yes former Horns in the NBA may not think much of him and current players are hitting the portal but he really, really is a great guy.
  7. Just here for The daily Koont Bowels inactivity report.
  8. There will be a lot of yelling at clouds and drinking to excess.
  9. By *plans* you must mean random collisions of neurotransmitters in his brain, not any organized activity.
  10. It seems plausible, particularly since he seems to be good at diving into the floor. Current players and former Horns in NBA signal that he sucks, his NCAA record says he sucks, millions into the Texas Coaching Event Horizon.
  11. What about doing a wild and crazy thing: Fire Smart. Hire Ivey along a bizarre philosophy—- productivity. Rapidly escalating salaries based upon production targets with an initial modest salary, and heavily investing in assistants with good track records and experience.Let the former Horns who support him help fund Smart’s buyout, and scale Ivey’ buyout up or down on a sliding scale depending again on production targets. If he shits the bed, it’s low, if he is succeeding it’s high- but so is salary/ bonus . It’s non- traditional but since there is significant risk on both sides it could be a reasonable model all parties might endorse if the numbers were right, and of course if he happens to be unusually successful—-like winning in March, everything is negotiable.
  12. Yes: is Shaka in the transfer portal? -also waiting to hear from Kork Bowels on the latest non-activity in the head coaching situation. That’s what we pay for here.
  13. Unprecedented for sure, Shaka: -6 years with zero NCAA wins -#3 losing to a #11 team shooting 29% against previously the worst team in D1. Most people prefer positive precedents to highlight, but this is what millionaire loser coaches do.....lots of rationalizing.
  14. Maybe $exton can represent Ivey.
  15. Taking a lot of heart pills I believe.
  16. Why would Musselman come here if he makes a deep run? His agent may float he rumor but he will get paid there no matter what. Don’t see the huge upside to starting over when his system seems to be working at a school that does have some appreciation for basketball.
  17. I don’t think it’s even 10% support, but I doubt there will be the WILL to terminate the contract this year sadly.
  18. I want CDC to say: “ Shaka Smart will be our coach for 2022”. —Then the coaching search smack will be for realz.
  19. If Royal Ivey is a true Billy Donovan disciple I would love to see him be Shaka’s replacement. Donovan was patient and built usually disciplined and organized teams at Florida. He transformed the “ not a basketball school”, UF, into champions twice IIRC. Not sure about what Nash gives Ivey in the equation but Ivey would be worth a shot.
  20. I agree, however reason and logic is not what drives those manipulating public opinion or negative recruiting.
  21. The EoT experience is all the proof that anyone needs to know that some in the national media and other schools will attack Texas using the race angle, for canning Shaka. Thin and weak or even non-existent linkages are the order of the day. That coupled with clickbait and stir the shit agendas make it a lock.
  22. The Texas haters inside the media and from other schools of course will use the race issues in his firing no matter when it happens, this year or next. He could win zero games all year and they will still say that. There are very few black coaches in D1 relatively speaking, and that will be enough “proof” for idiots and case builders.
  23. Not many know if he is a great dude or not. He gets paid millions yearly to be a great coach. He failed to meet that expectation. i think he is wet, but not his blanket, his diapers, and his bed need changing all the time.
