  1. And will still be outscored by his teammate
  2. On top of the line/blocking issues, it seems our offense always counts on the ball carrier to make one guy miss. The plays are designed to block everyone else, so that we gain 20 yards if we make one miss, but zero yards if we don’t make that guy miss. Boom or bust. Against Georgia’s talent, that one guy never missed. And, thanks to our execution/mindset, there was usually at least one more guy there with him to make the tackle anyway. (All opinion given here is without reviewing the tape - I refuse to do that to myself)
  3. Here's my hope/wishcasting. I hope Zelensky basically told Biden: "Ok, you've basically run us out of time, and we're fucked in 2 months. So, like it or not, I'm using these things the way I should have been allowed to use them all along. You can either go along with it, or look like the lame duck you are...your call. k thx bye."
  4. www.thedashcamstore.com Good information and advice there - along with sales (and installation if you're in central Texas). We have Blackvue or Thinkware cams in all our vehicles.
  5. She did not have a strong CS background coming out of high school - she was not sure what she wanted to do, and ended up moving into the program after her freshman year. Like many majors, the degree plan doesn't have a lot of room to slip, so she ended up on a 5 year plan. She likes the program now, but did struggle at first without that coding background. She was able to get a great internship this past summer, but doesn't have anything lined up yet for once she graduates (May).
  6. Oldest is in the last year at Arkansas, Computer Science. We got the 90% OOS scholarship, which made it a little easier to swallow. It's a bit farther from Austin than we'd like, but she loves it.
  7. That was insane. Max goes from 17 to 1. Perez starts 12 and gets 0 points.
  8. Was at a neighborhood halloween party last night and got to overhear some MAGA logic - "Trump is going to win in a landslide, because the *lack* of Trump signs in our neighborhood somehow proves that Trump supporters don't feel the need to "show off" who they are voting for, which then proves that everyone "knows" he's going to win comfortably." - "All the Harris signs are just old southern democrats who will always vote democrat because they think all republicans are evil - they are obviously not paying attention to the news at all."
  9. Fuck these refs. And these fucking vandy-knob slobbering announcers too
  10. WilCo annex off 79...<15 min in-and-out yesterday...
  11. Wife recently added Kindle Unlimited, so I've been drawn into a couple of series since they were free and all that. Light reading, nothing earth-shattering, but long series if you need filler. - Pike Chronicles, GP Hudson (15 books) - Empire Rising, DJ Holmes (20 books - I'm 7 in) Similar constructs really - expanding human space sphere, galactic war, and interstellar politics. Neither has impressed me enough to think I'll ever re-read, but they've kept my attention when I needed something to read.
  12. Yeah,, I'm with ROFL on this. I'm viewing this like I view my car project. Nothing is ever really "finished"...there's always more that can be done...
  13. I honestly think if he had immediately given the place back, he would have had a legitimate chance of Max getting a penalty for forcing him off track. And, as others have said, he would likely have passed him again anyway. (And yes, I'm a Red Bull fan.)
  14. Getting there around 11am, there were at least 2 open gates to the track, with zero foot traffic, that most people couldn't use, since they were reserved for PSL holders. This led to a giant mass of humanity at the main plaza gates. During the afternoon, the free water distribution right outside the turn 12 grandstand was out of water for a while. But, you could still buy water for $5. Beer was $11-$14, and chicken tenders & fries were $20. We were in Lot F, and it took us just under 2 hours to get to 130 leaving after qualifying last night. Was definitely a shitshow with (as mentioned above) race fans leaving in droves and music fans arriving. On the positive side, I've been at Turn 1 and Turn 9 in previous years, and the action seen from Turn 12 was definitely better than 9, and right up there with 1, IMO.
  15. We'll be out there today for the first time in a few years for F1...I'm expecting the same shittery for traffic & logistics as past years...
