  1. Blind Melon's "Soup" is so good top to bottom, Mouthful of Cavities, 2x4, Galaxy, etc. Think they got unfortunately pigeonholed by No Rain. I would argue that Shannon Hoon's death was comparable to Kurt Cobain's - in terms of what might have been.
  2. Will attend my first show at Red Rocks in August - My Morning Jacket. Cannot. Fucking. Wait.
  3. This thread is long overdue a bump. Some quality stoner rock coming to town -- Sasquatch and Nebula will play at Lost Well in Austin on August 27th.
  4. Fans of desert/stoner rock should check out Lo Sound Desert - documentary about the origins of that genre. Lots of Kyuss and Fu Manchu member interviews.
  5. Lost Boys
  6. Son Volt at the Scoot Inn on Wednesday.
  7. Dokken-Dream Warriors
  8. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve never missed an episode of Southern Charm.
  9. Bon Jovi and Skid Row - Hemisfair Arena San Antone, 1989ish
  10. Drivin' n Crying' - Fly Me Courageous deserves mention here, and on the underrated album thread.
  11. Thread needs some desert/stoner rock: I submit Fu Manchu's King of the Road. The title track, No Dice, Over the Edge, Boogie Van, Blue Tile Fever - top to bottom its a fantastic rock album.
  12. Soul Asylum - Hangtime (or any Soul Asylum record before Grave Dancers Union)
  13. Baroness/Deafheaven/Zeal & Ardor at Emo’s Saturday. Dream bill.
  14. When the F does Season 4 of Catastrophe come out?
  15. Plunge Protection Team activated.
  16. Dow down tree fiddy now.
  17. Thank you sir! Just picked up a pair.
  18. Anyone know the presale code for Baroness/Deafheaven tix at Emos in March?
  19. Another going to Ghost at Bass. Will be my 4th show, they're always a blast to watch. Papa is such a great frontman.
  20. I watched this on Halloween night and it creeped me the fuck out. The movie carried a sense of dread the whole way through. Highly recommend for any horror fans.
  21. Johnny Marr at Empire Control Room on Wednesday 10/10. Checked out a setlist and it was full of Smiths and Electronic covers. His solo stuff is outstanding too. Can't wait.
