  1. Same, I've kind of lost interest in the football program except for possible changes. That's a big change for me, and I'm not a super donor or anything, but I've definitely helped the program until recently.
  2. Yeah, my reasonable expectation is All-NBA third team type of level. I don't expect First Team All-NBA level.
  3. That's pretty good to me too. I don't really go for labels too much, but I would just say I am definitely open to a good universal healthcare policy as I think it benefits society overall in so many ways beyond just the obvious health care side of it, but I am completely turned off with Defund Police discussion, etc. But I believe the healthcare option completely going public is a hard sell because I believe a lot of people are generally ok with their current insurance and fear huge change, and frankly some are of the "I got mine" mentality so out of sight out of mind, etc.
  4. I kind of like the team Brooklyn has right now already so I'm lukewarm on Harden going there depending on what they have to give up. I'm also not sure how Kyrie and Harden can flow well on the court together, but certainly three players with that level of talent is hard to ignore as serious contenders. I especially worry about Kyrie if Harden is there, as I just don't trust him to stay engaged and happy in that scenario. I am not worried about Brooklyn's current talent to win at all, but much more so health and mental toughness. I also doubt Houston will trade Harden so soon, as they likely can get some pretty good offers, but who knows. As for Durant, the fair expectation is that he will likely still be pretty good, but I wouldn't count on him being First Team All-NBA good. You just hope for it more than anything but Durant is a very unique athlete and his offense can still function pretty well to me even with lower quickness and mobility. I kind of in my gut think he will be pretty close to 90% of the player he was, but that's just a pure guess. I think he will suffer much more on defense than offense if he shows any limitations from the recovery. I am confident he can still average 27+ in his sleep, but I am more skeptical about his defensive performance due to the injury. I like trying the play-in tournament. You can always dump it if it doesn't engage the right fan interest (read: ratings) and it might allow more fans of middling rosters to stay interested in their team as they might have a chance down to the last week or two.
  5. Critical drive extending third down penalties...easy missed TD throws, and of course the obligatory delay of game on special teams of all things.
  6. I feel kind of bad that the thought entered my mind "what if the crowd chanted Urban Urban if Texas is down in the 4th..."
  7. I think he will appoint one in order of likelihood, Transportation, Defense, maybe Veterans Affairs.
  8. Which publication will have the guts to say "You're fired!" with Trump flailing on the cover when this is finally called?
  9. I think if the economy was strong with no pandemic, yeah...I think the result is different.
  10. A few early guesses, will think about this more: Secretary of State: Susan Rice Defense: Duckworth (might consider a symbolic Republican here and a few other slots so show symbolism of his messaging, I am very sure he will seriously consider at least one Republican for a Cabinet position somewhere) but there is another good candidate out there that could be the choice. Man, this is hard at this time of morning I better stop while I am behind!
  11. My early guess for 2024 Republican candidates are some of the obvious (Pence, Haley, etc) but I think Cotton will run, and I would say a dark horse is Hawley.
  12. I think in the end, Biden was the right choice because of the Midwest. We will never know, but I think a "comfort" candidate coupled with anti-Trump sentiment won out in PA/MI/WIS. I do think it's possible other candidates might have done a little better in some other states.
  13. If you think Trump can sneak in NC and one of GA/AZ, +500 odds on Democrat 30-59 Electoral College victory. Odds on favorite 60-99 Democrat -200.
  14. I'm trying to have some empathy for the county guy, he's probably not used to dealing with reporters, and you know they all have to be stressing right now.
  15. Basic data (no way to know how good all of this is, just some assumptions) Some of this might be wrong so quick the data but maybe close to right?? 17,157 votes left Chatham - Biden leaning 58/41 (based on current data, might skew with mails, etc.) 11,200 Fulton - 73/26 7,400 Clayton - 85/14 7,338 Gwinnett - 58/40 4,713 Forsyth - 67/32 3,641 Harris - 77/22 Trump 1,797 Laurens - 64/35 Trump 1,552 Putnam 71/29 Trump 1,202 Sumter - 52/47 Biden 700 Cobb - 56/42 Biden These total up to about 56,300, very close to the 61k reported
  16. Math is pretty easy there if accurate. A 2:1 ratio would be 600/300, so Biden needs to do a little better than that ratio. (if #'s right)
  17. 9/11 and Rudy seems like a different dimension in time and space at this point...
  18. AZ just went off the odds, not sure why. Michigan was long gone hours before it was called.
