  1. It took me a few episodes to get into it, but ended up enjoying the series. I thought it was an interesting resolution of the mystery. There were still a couple too many storylines but worth the time. Sven was my guy.
  2. Horrible call. If anything, it was on the other dude from behind.
  3. Can you help me understand the psychology in coming to a thread you don't care about in order to make fun of people that are interested in a topic? Does it help you feel superior in some way? I am legitimately curious. My understanding is that it is an open secret that she is gay. She lived with a woman in Waco for years, no idea if it's the same set up at LSU.
  4. This. That guy has to be a bit, but they say he's legitimately that terrible.
  5. The gossip mongers are out of control in the UK. I concede that but disagree with the rest. The people of England are entitled to their business. This is not a private citizen. Their source of income is public funds and entire reason for being at this point is to be a public face. They 100% owe transparency to the public. I understand some time to work through it with doctors and your family, but you need to communicate with the public (who again, 100% pays for the largesse) ASAP. Hiding behind photoshops and fake photo ops is irresponsible to the people that pay for their lives.
  6. I love that every time aTm gets out of their bubble, people are “wtf is going on with these weirdos?” With social media, more and more people are seeing their absurdity and it’s great. We had to deal with that shit without many people knowing about it for too long.
  7. I think that’s probably fair. I would throw Bottle Rocket in there because I love it so much, but he’s not really playing with the Wes Anderson style yet. It’s just a damn fun movie. Tennenbaums and GPH are probably the most accessible of his Wes Anderson-y movies. Like someone said above, his movies tend to age incredibly well over multiple viewings, so if you don’t get the hype after seeing those, I think that’s fine and fair. If you have time (and the inclination to delve in), seeing those twice may be worth it.
  8. This is a very valid opinion. That movie rules so hard and never gets old.
  9. How many 3’s is Vermont planning on airballing tonight?
  10. This tourney has been been kind of a drag so far (other than KU last night), but that was a real fun 10 minutes with two games going down to the wire.
  11. The officials tried real hard to give it to Auburn, but they kept screwing up. How many bunnies and FT’s did they miss late? Yikes.
  12. They need to be able to review that call. The NBA does it with Coach’s Challenges
  13. That sucks so bad for them. What an unbelievable play.
  14. That’s probably it. They had some chances
  15. Man, Tech could never get any momentum to cut into the lead. Eh…fuck ‘em
  16. Same, I got them and really like them. I like that I can wear them on a non gameday as well since the orange is more subtle. I have the Pegasus from last fall as well. Good for gameday but too much for me on a random Tuesday.
  17. They really screwed up by fucking around and missing the Elba window. Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be good. Beyond that, I think Daniel Kaaluya would be interesting. I know there are a lot of Melissa McCarthy jokes, but "Spy" was legitimately very funny. Mostly due to Rose Byrne, Janney and Statham, but still.
  18. This is not Feloni right? The Mandolorian Season 3 and Ashoka got way too into the lore for me. I didn't watch the cartoons, so I was lost half the time.
  19. I'm loving the show but I haven't posted much about it. How many different ways can you say, "this show rules" every week? I am missing some of the church stuff the last couple of episodes, but that's just how the story moved.
  20. The host of the movie podcast I listened to kept bringing this movie up, I think mostly to give it some exposure. So, I popped it on and really enjoyed it. Nothing fancy but it's interesting and it moves really well. Baruchel doesn't stay too far from his usual, but Howerton is unrecognizable, both in appearance and acting. I think it was effective in showing the underlying message of the desire of companies to prioritize production might over quality. I agree, it is definitely worth a watch.
  21. I was surprised that they eliminated them on a keep racing leg. I don’t think they have done that in the past. Maybe it was a mercy kill because…..yikes
