  1. The most impressive thing to me about Pulisic recently is how calm he is in front of goal. Takes his time and picks his spot when there are guys all around him. Shows his confidence level right now.
  2. I thought it was interesting what Maria said about not getting feedback since she's always in the middle. I was actually just wondering that last week. I feel like they should at least give people in the middle some sense of how they are doing. Seems a little unfair that you only get feedback when you're on the bottom or top, especially early on when they middle is so big.
  3. Enjoyed the first few episodes of “Call My Agent”. It’s a French show about a talent agency in Paris and they have actual French actors portraying themselves. It’s light and entertaining with French people being French. As a Francophile, it’s right up my alley.
  4. Thanks. good to know it is actually confusing as shit and I wasn’t just being dense.
  5. Very important 3 points. A 2-0 win over Fulham doesn’t grab the eye but considering our upcoming schedule, 3 points was essential there.

You got a name? Google is coming up empty. I’ve always been a Waterloo devotee going back to my college years(CD’s back then) but been buying more from Breakaway recently. Would be good to put another place into the rotation.
  7. I’m coming to F1 after watching DTS last spring and the new season last month, so I don’t know the drivers as well as others of you. I think I may be in the minority in not liking Ricciardo. He just seems like the guy who thinks he’s way funnier than he actually is and gets on your nerves at the bar trying to be overly jovial all the time. I do like Zak Brown and Norris though, so have mixed feelings on McLarin. I like both Sainz and LeClerc, so probably going to be a Ferrari guy. I also enjoy the story of a former power house trying to regain glory (much like our beloved football team).
  8. Can someone explain the tire rules for me? I understand what each type does, but there seems to be some rules on what order you can use them? Also, if you use a type for qualifying you have to start with that type on race day (may have made this up)? I could be wrong on my interpretation but I feel like there are some confusing rules there.
  9. I could have sworn I got an update from FrontGate tickets, but I went back to look through my e-mail and didn't find anything. Must have been a fever dream. Either way, you can go to the Stubb's site and click on any Black Pumas date. On the next page, you should have a login button near the top left. I just went in there and had them resend my tickets for May 29, 2021. So, for now, I have tickets. With you on the Stones as well. It's still open on my Ticketmaster login. We'll see where that goes...
  10. Hayes Carll at Nutty Brown Black Pumas is still on at Stubb's at the end of May. We'll see if that sticks. Haven't seen anything about reduced crowds.
  11. What tracker have you been using? Is that just eligible adults? I've been using the Bloomberg and it's showing right at 40%. Happy for yours to be right, I'm just trying to find the best tracker.
  12. I’m new to the sport but that seems like a really dumb move by Perez. That’s going to sting.
  13. What a move by Max to start the race.
  14. I am enjoying the show enough, but I certainly feel there are too many storylines going on. It all just seems very unfocused.
  15. Got Moderna 2 yesterday and it took both the wife and I out. Chills and weakness starting late last night and still going. My wife is still in bed. Heard her puking in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Thank God we already had our nanny coming over this morning as a preemptive.
  16. Ziyech should have 2. Great second half though, thus far.
  17. The Future always wins. Always. You can choose to rage against it or accept that fact and try to understand and find your place in it. Raging against it must be exhausting.
  18. I've heard a few people mention "Shithouse" and I caught it on Showtime the other day. I really enjoyed it. It's nothing new, a story of a college freshman figuring it out, but it is smart and surprising and feels authentic. Definitely a cut above similar type movies. I read about it later and the main actor, who also wrote and directed it is from Dallas. He's in his mid-20's, which is really impressive. Jay Duplass saw a short he made and shepherded the movie through the process. It also won the SXSW Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Feature, so it has some legitimacy. I wish it had a better name. I think that really hurts it getting a wider audience and has very little to do with the actual movie.
  19. Have I got a book for you: https://www.amazon.com/Was-All-Lie-Republican-Became/dp/0525658459
  20. This is probably right. Also, with all the driver changes and team evolutions, they build on eachother well.
  21. Agree on Shortie's. We went last weekend and had a good meal and a good time on the patio. I liked the no touch ordering concept, at least for now. Can't remember which pizza we ordered, but it was pretty dang good. Not the best, but will definitely put it in the rotation for a place for a casual family meal. Also ordered a sandwich to try it out and it was fine. The bread was really good.
  22. Watched F1: DTS seasons 1 and 2 last March and season 3 last week. Thought I would give an actual race a try and enjoyed it. My 4 year old daughter sat and watched for 45 minutes, which is a record for sitting still if it's not Bluey or PJ Masks. I'll stick around for awhile and pepper you pros with dumb questions and terrible noob sports points, if that works for you.
  23. My wife and I use "I don't understand the question and I won't respond to it" pretty regularly. She was incredible as Lucille. RIP to a legend.
  24. F1: Drive to Survive continues to be incredible 3 seasons in. Season 3, Episode 9 is just unbelievable shit.
