Saw it the other day and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. The 3 hours definitely worried me, but I didn't mind it in this case.
Mildly spoilery, but I did notice the liquid that Batman injected into his leg looked (and acted) a lot like the Venom drug. I read a bunch of comics as a kid and that series always stuck with me (that shit was serious), so I definitely perked up when I saw it. Looking around on the internet, I wasn't the only one who noticed it. Who knows if they do anything with it, but put a pin in that.
It’s not as good, but much like D&C, it gets better will repeated viewing. I’ve seen it a few times now and enjoy it more and more. It’s a great thing to put on and hang out in the world, again like D&C. Glenn Powell has his star making performance in this. Also, as a long time Lea Thompson enthusiast, I enjoy time spent with Zoey Deutch. The only miss is Juston Street. Bad character. Bad performance.
They dropped the finale a day early, so we just finished it.
Overall enjoyed it. It's not essential viewing, but worth a watch if you want a fun and easy watch. The great cast carries it.
I tried to get in today and it says I need a login for the Dashboards. Anyone else having this issue? Do I need a login to access public information now?
Catching up on the highlights. Christian's goal was pretty close to the same shot he missed in the final last year. Glad to see him tuck it in the side net this time.
I can't think of a more consistent band than Spoon. I think that's why they're not talked about as much as they should.
Water is life sustaining and ubiquitous, but you don't talk about it until it has turbidity in it.
Incredible idiocy. We are out at my in-laws in Steiner while we get some work on our house in town. That hill is serious at the best of times. You have to be a fucking moron to try it during an ice storm.
Seriously, why the fuck is this on Paramount+ today? Did the Federation think it was more important to squeeze a few more bucks out of broadcast rights instead of growing the game by putting it somewhere most people can see it? Idiots.
Went to the ENT doctor a couple days ago and she confirmed that she has seen a lot of people coming in with ringing in their ears after COVID or the vaccine. So, pretty awesome that the vaccine gave me tinnitus.
I wonder how much the self reporting is kicking the numbers up. I've seen that link floating around a few places and I think it's pretty new, so maybe more people are seeing it. I'm sure the numbers were much higher 3-4 weeks ago, but people were just home testing and had no way to report positives.
That was a fumble and recovery. Wild that the Bama dude was in bounds. He just grabbed it because he was there. Also, #31 was about a yard offsides on the play.
I mentioned it on the vaccine thread, but it popped up for me with the vaccine. I noticed it a little bit, but the booster really made it worse.
There is nothing definitive or peer reviewed out there, but there are some indications that vaccines/COVID can cause tinnitus in rare cases.
The last 6 or so months, I have had an increasing ringing in my ears. I really noticed a jump shortly after my booster. Looking around on the internet, there isn't anything definitive or peer reviewed, but there have been reports of ringing after vaccine and the British Tinnitus Association has named it as a rare side effect. Going to the doctor in a couple of weeks, so hope to know more. Would super suck if this is permanent from the vaccine.
