  1. God, I hope Schloss steals aggy’s souls this upcoming season. After tonight, they may not survive if that happens.
  2. Fucking domination. That 24 yard run by Reed doing A LOT of work on that average.
  3. I would love to have Sam battering ram Ehlinger right about now. I’d have all the confidence in the world that Texas would get a first down. Granted, Texas is about to send em home with a “poor Aggies” chant for the first time in 13 years, so oh well.
  4. All these people making fun of Dude Perfect are acting like they wouldn’t want to be multimillionaires doing fun shit all the turn for a living. Yeah, they’re aggy, but that would be awesome. Let’s be real…
  5. God, I love C.J. Baxter. Also, what Sark has done to the culture at Texas is incredible when you compare it to even three years ago. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/cj-baxter-ncaa-football-texas-longhorns We are back to where we belong. Playing for all the marbles. The Blueprint is there. Now it’s time to execute. Go out there and get one for your brother. Sincerely, CJ Article below:
  6. "What Whitt broke down for me was essentially all of the things that usually go unspoken, but that make the difference between a team competing for a national championship and missing a bowl game entirely. He’d experienced both sides of it since he’d been at Texas. He told me from the jump what I did in high school didn’t matter anymore. Everybody at Texas balled out in high school — that’s why they’re a Longhorn. For a lot of players, it means sitting on the bench for the first time in your life. Lesson 1: Don’t complain and poison the locker room. Earn your spot on the depth chart. That ego hit can ultimately be too much for some guys. And if it is? There’s the door." That's the difference between guys who get it (Whitt, Baxter, etc.) and the guys that don't (Cook, etc.).
  7. Definitely. They took three this year and had Collins and Broughton coming back. Even with the concerns about returning production this year, I'd call it even worse next year. January seems to have an obvious upward trajectory, but that's basically it as far as seemingly sure things.
  8. Did anyone here in the last 45 minutes say they wanted to push IDL to the portal? We're just speculating on who Bobby was referring to.
  9. What's crazy is that Texas is at the point that none of those really feel all that bad. The TE room will need an influx of talent, especially if Niblack and/or Shannon leave with Gunnar and Davis also departing. Granted, they've thrown numbers there with the freshman class. My question is how ready any of those pieces will be - especially from a blocking perspective. I don't like losing OL depth, but Texas has good depth there anyways. Otherwise, losing those pieces and upgrading overall seems like another huge off-season portal net gain.
  10. Now he just needs to go to Tulane to complete the ultimate palindrome career of ascension and school firings.

  12. Didn’t someone recently say that Texas was trying to get this kid to open things back up?
