  1. Should we really gather that Turntine is being recruited as a guard and isn’t the top priority over Ojo because of “big humans,” or is this just more 9.95er overthinking?
  2. I did. I obviously did not peruse far enough to catch this the first time:
  3. I’m assuming this is Nick’s little (yet bigger physically) brother?
  4. Yeah, about that... Turntine might want a word. Naturally, I'd love both.
  5. That's just the plan to get him legitimate earned income so he can open up a Roth IRA at a super young age. Good thinking, Derka.
  6. He basically has in every instance (except RT) when hiring coaches. I don't have to guess. He absolutely will go big game hunting. That said, big game probably refers to "notable name" in this search. As has been said, we likely won't hire an older "big game" name. Lastly, sign me the fuck up for Lloyd. That would be an amazing hire.
  7. Worked out for Saban
  8. What does this mean other than Texas hiring Royal Ivey? Or, does "one of their guys" just mean the collective group needs to sign off on the hire?
  9. Tucker only spends his disposable income on shoes. Dude is nuts for shoes...
  10. Vandy isn't why they didn't get in. It was their absolutely horrendous late-season disappearance act in Norman that kept them out. Edit: Nvm, I see that was covered by @Vic Mackey.
  11. We don't need to rehash this, but I vehemently disagree. If Texas hired any coach with a decent college basketball performance pedigree, it could have made sense when compared to RT's head coaching history. This is a guy whose résumé would have never been considered for the role under normal circumstances. CDC pigeonholed himself. Shit, Texas didn't give him a contract that spoke confidence around his hiring, either. Anyways, it would be great for the season to turnaround. But, I have zero hope that it actually will. When Texas misses the tournament, I hope it's enough of a negative trajectory for CDC to hit the eject button on this era of Texas Basketball.
  12. Yep. I've been a huge Texas Basketball fan since I was a little kid. Right now, I can't even stomach to watch much. It's obvious RT ain't it.
  13. You’re not wrong. I am gay for Texas Baseball.
  14. Well, damn. RT already assuaging our concerns. As a side note, two coaches for UF (HC Golden, assistant and alum Green) are currently under Title IX investigations for sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, stalking and cyberstalking multiple women — including students, as well as sexual assault, respectively.
  15. That caught my eye, as well. When was the last time that occured at Texas (if ever, and if it actually occurs). Also, should we even want to start three-straight lefties? I guess if they're the best options, go for it.
  16. I'd like to see Niblack stay because with Helm and Davis moving on, Texas will have absolutely no production or experience returning next season. It's probably a given they go after a TE in the spring window. Plus, there's not a typical blocking TE on this roster. Maybe we see a return of the jumbo TE (read: sixth OL) next season.
  17. Genuinely curious how you became a Texas fan. 1. Family rooting interest? 2. Grad school at UT? 3. Something else? Did you grow up in Texas? If so, I’m sure many Texans don't end up at NIU. Cumulatively, based on recent portal work, high school recruiting, and my outside perspective on NIL spending, it seems like there's a possible changing of the guard happening over the next few years in the SEC from Alabama/UGA to Texas/UF/Auburn. It hasn't necessarily materialized yet, and UF/Auburn have a long way to go with on-field results, but it kind of looks that way to me.
  18. I don't think it's worthless. He had to make the decision by last night, so it's an indicator that it may not actually be a 50/50 chance at this point. It's more likely he returns, IMO. I'm betting we find out for sure, today.
  19. OTF is reporting that the last they knew (last night), Trey Moore was set to return to Texas in lieu of declaring for the draft. However, that was no guarantee, as he's flip-flopped a lot in recent weeks.
  20. Oh man, now Clemson winning the ACC title game and getting into the playoffs makes so much sense. @Helobious to the red courtesy phone. Jesus is like, omnipresent, dude. He has all the time on his hands. Nah, classical Biblical story arc. NIU was the crucifixion, CFP was the resurrection, and beating OSU will be the ascension into heaven. And just for fun, beating aggy at Kyle was flipping tables at the temple in Jerusalem.
  21. Currently a 21-3 run for OU.
  22. OU sucks! 43-27 at half.
  23. Holy shit, Kaluma. Two TOs and two fouls in two possessions.
