  1. Sanders is 215 pounds. Whaley and Houston were much larger and stronger. Probably faster, too. Sanders isn't going to get PT over any of the five scholarship backs.
  2. Texas baseball player Nik Sanders joins the Longhorns' football program This upcoming fall, Texas catcher Nik Sanders won't just be focused on baseball. Sanders has been added to the roster of the Texas football team. He is currently listed as a 6-foot-2, 215-pound running back on the team's website. He has been assigned the No. 31 jersey. Earlier on Monday, Sanders tweeted out a picture of his new locker and wrote "Let’s get it @TexasFootball." Sanders last played football at University High in Waco. This past baseball season, Sanders was the designated hitter in UT's season opener. However, the freshman later found playing time hard to find. He appeared in just nine games and hit .056 over 18 at-bats. Texas is set to open practices for the 2024 football season on Wednesday. Sanders will be one of eight running backs on the roster. https://www.statesman.com/story/sports/college/longhorns/football/2024/07/29/texas-baseball-player-nik-sanders-joins-longhorns-football-team/74596583007/
  3. For good reason! Losing that would surely hurt his draft stock.
  4. Yep. Invest half. At her age, she's set. However, enjoy Lubbutt, Canady.
  5. Well, shit. Now I know who to resurrect on my College Football 25 dynasty. Anyone know if I can I unlock a coaching ability for banging hookers in cheap hotels?
  6. The talent is definitely there for a title, but with the dearth of coaching experience on that staff across the board, I don’t see a title happening.
  7. All for that. WBB is a powerhouse in the making. No reason they can't be a UCONN or USCe. Getting Chavez puts a national title in grasp.
  8. Damn, that’s another great prospect pick up. He was a projected 4th-5th rounder that didn’t get drafted until the 20th because his asking price was too high/didn’t care if he had to go to college.
  9. Yep. Smaller schools are fucked.
  10. Sucks for smaller/less lucrative athletic departments/schools. Blue bloods in football are about to clean up in recruiting/the portal even more now. Good thing we're Texas fans. Not at most P4 programs. I'm sure they still will be in lower divisions/at the poors.

  12. BA also didn’t denote any of the roster additions Texas has made. It tells me that haven’t looked at this roster makeup yet. Their analysis is wildly incomplete. This is a preseason top-15 team, for sure. However, “it don’t make a shit.” By May/June of next year, they’ll know this is a different Texas team.
  13. Way too early to say that about Baker. He's supposedly a great coach and developer, which will help him recruit subsequent classes. Joseph and Gideon are known issues.
  14. They have "Aggie" rings for all of their campuses. The purest example of "t-shirt" fan shit.
  15. Based on the CBs Texas is recruiting, it seems they prefer speed, length, and overall athleticism. Height is great, but it appears not at the expense of those three attributes.
  16. Legend has it that Moro Ojomo still isn’t 17. Pretty damn good for a guy who is a second-string DE for the Eagles.
  17. 1. That’s as pretty of a roster Texas has had in a long time. 2. Love the current ratio of RHP:LHP. We’ve been missing having a plethora of lefty arms for quite some time. Let’s hope this young team can put it all together on a consistent basis.
  18. Niblack is also a ridiculous mismatch as well. Hopefully both are harbingers for the upcoming season.
  19. Anyone know where Jackson Prince ended up at?
  20. Except that's not at all what you're doing. Now, you're conflating disparate concepts into one and creating a straw man to excuse your own naive and misplaced perceptions regarding NIL. If someone doesn't have money to contribute to NIL efforts, that's totally fine. However, bitching and perpetuating false narratives regarding something you (1) clearly don't understand and (2) are not a part of is deceitful and does nothing to help the situation. This is like someone who doesn't vote (no CR) who complains about politicians or the like. Sure, it still affects you, but you're not even trying to remedy the situation. No, y'all just want to complain behind a keyboard when Texas NIL is fucking top-tier and there are multiple posters here who fucking have first-hand information to know so. This!
  21. Texas is over. It doesn't matter. The roster will shrink via Fall Ball when it must. I'd rather have plus numbers with ensuing competition than the opposite scenario.
