  1. What's crazy is that Texas is at the point that none of those really feel all that bad. The TE room will need an influx of talent, especially if Niblack and/or Shannon leave with Gunnar and Davis also departing. Granted, they've thrown numbers there with the freshman class. My question is how ready any of those pieces will be - especially from a blocking perspective. I don't like losing OL depth, but Texas has good depth there anyways. Otherwise, losing those pieces and upgrading overall seems like another huge off-season portal net gain.
  2. Now he just needs to go to Tulane to complete the ultimate palindrome career of ascension and school firings.
  3. Now he just needs to go to Tulane to complete the ultimate palindrome career of ascension and school firings.
  4. Didn’t someone recently say that Texas was trying to get this kid to open things back up?
  5. 10 wins is "good," but it's all relative. In five of those nine 10-win seasons, Texas didn't play for shit at the end.
  6. All good. I was just curious what Pate said.
  7. I think it was purely moving the goalposts on an outcome variable by Mack to cover his ass. It gave him some "standard of excellence" while allowing for a loss to OU and someone else on the schedule. In reality, it just meant Texas missed the BigXII South crown and a title game appearance, and settled for the Holiday/Alamo Bowl, as you mentioned. Real neat, FUPM.
  8. Do you mind posting this Pate link? I want to watch.
  9. Shit, not a catch.
  10. This is really good for Texas. Might give a little cushion if they drop another game. It'd be great if Auburn could beat aggy today too.
  11. Lol. Dart threw into triple coverage and got picked.
  12. Upside is he doesn't need to lose a shit ton of bad weight like Mitchell did (still does).
  13. Crypto.com Arena (Staples Center - Lakers) is the same. Many of the NBA arenas are like this.
  14. I’d be all for this (for obvious reasons) 🤘🏼
  15. For a coach whose best season is 11-2, has a historical winning percentage of seven out of every 10 games at PSU in a shallow conference, and is more well-known for rape enabling and victim blaming than winning anything of magnitude, that's a pretty damn high buy out. Then again, Pedo State probably looks at him and thinks:
  16. For sure. On that turnaround by Kaluma a couple possessions ago, no one crashed the basket. Actually, the same thing just happened on the miss by Pope. I’m concerned with rebounding and what will happen when we have bigs in foul trouble again better teams.
  17. Wow. He can dribble more than twice without turning the ball over now.
  18. Not sure why they haven't already written a program to just do this all for them. That shouldn't be difficult. Edit: I see above about the past fuck ups even with algorithms. Who do they have doing this shit for them? Some college social media intern? As dysfunctional as Yormark seems, he's probably trying to do it himself with Copilot or some shit.
  19. 1. WTF? You want an explosive, play-making talent to decommit from Texas and go to a conference foe? 2. We are literally competing with them for recruits this cycle - both current commits they want to flip, as well as uncommitted. 3. I give up. This must be a schtik.
  20. Boy, that entire list looks like it’ll shift wildly before the 2026 draft.
  21. I definitely currently "trust the coaches" at RB, WR, Edge/DE, and LB. Choice seems to always nail his evals (yes, wording, but IDGAF) Sark seems to always get productive WRs; from the high school ranks, as well as the portal DE recruiting has been stellar the past couple of years, with early contributors and portal players mixed in LB has great early contributors and good development I don't really understand this year's OL class. If we add Fasusi, that changes. However, pretty much all the current takes appear like projects to me. Now, we have some depth at tackle and promising young players across the line, so maybe it doesn't matter that much. I'll definitely defer to "trust the coaches" here too. Flood has earned that.
