  1. He is on scholarship now. I believe he was awarded one late in 2022. This award is for athletes who started their college career as a walk-on, regardless of their status now.
  2. Hate that he got hurt, but that's a pretty minor season-ending injury as far as it concerns his future football career.
  3. Knee, lower leg (ankle/Achilles), shoulder; do we know?
  4. Quandre did get torched on a TD run where he took a bad angle and then gave up on the play when his teammates didn’t. Still love the guy, but it was not great. Gibbs is fast, fast though.
  5. Didn't meant to imply a "correction." Just helping explain the context. Now, let's get this thread back to people bitching at each other.
  6. @Thatguy was talking about which read in the pass progression Bolden was on that particular play. See what I bolded.
  7. The SEC is absolutely getting three teams in the CFP, and most likely four due to conference SOS. Tennessee should lose to UGA and LSU should at least lose to Alabama. Both could lose two more. Even if Texas drops a game to A&M, it’s very likely Texas gets in. Now, all bets are off if Texas loses twice.
  8. You’re right. I stand corrected. Dickson was amazing whether or not the overall team was. Dude is still collecting NFL checks.
  9. This should be the case. The only two-loss scenarios that are realistic are: Two regular season losses, miss the SEC Championship Game. If LSU has three losses, Texas is likely in as the third or fourth SEC team, especially if the second loss is at top-10 A&M and they finish 11-1 in the regular season. One regular season loss, lose to UGA in the SEC Championship Game. Even if it's another beating, Texas gets in as SEC #2. I don't think there's a realistic scenario now where Texas loses two regular season games, somehow still plays for the SEC Title, and losses that. I guess it's mathematically possible, but not at all likely. Either way, Texas fans should be rooting for UGA and Vandy to each knock off Tennessee, and for Alabama, Florida, and/or Vandy to beat LSU. Likewise, it's a given we want anyone (especially S Carolina) to beat A&M, so Texas controls their own destiny in that game.
  10. Texas really needs LSU to lose to Alabama. If that happens, Texas is likely in the playoffs, even with two losses (buffer if Texas loses another) and missing the SEC Championship Game. Obviously, win out in the regular season and a playoff appearance is likely guaranteed.
  11. You're 100% correct on that. I watched that entire game and NDSU had some big fuck ups to lose.
  12. I’ll drink to that! Let’s make it happen, Sark.
  13. Eh, they lost to the two best teams they’ve played and the Big12 is shit this year.
  14. Why would I donate to Burnt Ends if I was an aggy troll? You’re not very smart, are you?
  15. Sorry, I thought we were talking about the poster who said “they’re winning out.” My bad for not confirming first. I certainly don’t think, or agree with, aggy winning it all.
  16. Me? Lol, not at all. Go look at my posting history prior to today. I never talk about them. If I was an aggy troll, why would I give to Burnt Ends?
  17. He’s talking about the regular season.
  18. The A&M defensive front could absolutely give Texas’ offense fits. Again, I’m not saying that Texas will lose. But it’s entirely foolish of anyone here to say Texas is going win without issue.
  19. Yeah. Reed sure sucks and A&M is no threat at all to Texas. Come on. I know we all hate A&M here, but let’s be real…
  20. Lol, come on, man.
  21. Not a troll. Just not a clueless Texas homer. Nothing about Ewers or our OL says they’ll handle the noise, stage, or defensive pressure well. Just like UGA.
  22. I’m not saying Texas can’t. But I’m not confident Texas will. Lol, neg away. The same reckless overconfidence some of y’all had before the UGA game. The concerns are real. We almost blew it against Vandy today.
  23. They’ll definitely be favored at home if they’re 10-1. That’s not even an argument.
  24. Who has Texas beaten? LSU is a better win than Texas has (if they pull this out). Frankly, Elko’s defensive schemes and disguising coverages is precisely what Quinn struggles with. I’m not scared, but losing at Kyle is a real fucking possibility.
