  2. Lmao at those Bama fans. I’m sure most Vanderbilt grads are thankful they didn’t go to Alabama 1. Stop being shitty losers. 2. My career and financial health has loved being a UT and Vanderbilt grad, thus far. As much as it was difficult to be a Texas Football fan from 2010-2021, especially after my fandom really began during the 1998 season with Ricky’s Heisman and the subsequent run of good Texas teams, I’m glad that I learned how to detach my emotions from football results. Alabama fans are going to need to learn how to do that a little more now that the landscape has much more potential parity at the top due to NIL and Saban’s retirement.
  3. And again, it’s not correct. So, it’s not really a discussion item to be rehashed.
  4. Not @Red Five It was @HateYouAndMyself
  5. Yep, but not much here, unfortunately:
  6. Fucking dumb decision to go for it. Cost us points again, Sark.
  7. Auburn's gonna miss now because of the damn penalty and not taking the points in the first place.
  8. Will Sark take the points?
  9. He's better than Blue. Wisner should start. Honestly, Gibson should probably play over Blue, too.
  10. Exactly. There's wild shit in the game almost every year. Whether it's huge momentum swinging plays, random blowouts, frequent upsets, and weird ass plays like that (bobbled TD passes, etc.).
  11. Paul Thompson? I believe you meant 2006-2008? I went to high school with his younger brother. Was a good RB who ran way too straight up, spent a year at Idaho, and flamed out.
  12. He did on the Bond miss. That was an easy TD if he and Ewers connect.
  13. “With ease” lmao.
  14. On the road in a crazy environment against a good team. Wow. What a comeback.
  15. Wasn’t it like 17-8 in favor of UF at one point?
  16. Hey, me too! I didn’t know there was another one on Surly 🤘🏼⚓️
  17. I don't disagree that we shouldn't be blindly pessimistic with Clark's recovery, but the one poster (@Magus Ossis) who has actually provided "medical info" is a clinician who directly works with these types of injuries. Pretty sure his info is not outdated. Otherwise, @Anton Chigurh's post shows just how variable the recovery outcome can be. It's entirely realistic to be skeptical of Clark's ability to contribute at Texas in the future. At the same time, it's entirely possible he will return and contribute. However, based on how stacked the RB room is, combined with how well Texas continues to recruit at the position, it's entirely possible Clark doesn't see the field as a heavy contributor here.
  18. Guyton is an OT though. No one is reaching for a project guard on the first two days of the NFL draft. Especially one that doesn't have positional flexibility to play OT or C.
  19. -Turntine III, Ojo, and Carlton would be a hell of a start along the lines for Texas. The Stampede: The 10 most important in-state prospects in 2026 The 10 most important in-state prospects amongst the junior class for the Texas Longhorns.
  20. IMO, that's letting him off too easy.
  21. Depth is going to be tested. There are some crazy stretches on that schedule where they play a ton of games in close sequence.
  22. That's one hell of a conference schedule. Going to be an equal amount of fun and frustrating, I imagine.
  23. Two plays in a row here where Simmons times the snap perfectly and gets into the backfield almost immediately. First play, blasts into the backfield, sheds a poor block, backtracks very quickly and makes the tackle. Next play, gets basically a free rush due to his speed release at the snap to get a third-down sack. Simmons is well on his way to being ridiculously good.
  24. I'm assuming you mean Beck in one of those spots.
