  1. Same here. I was going to post about how “wtf?!” it was too.
  2. And then win the whole fucking thing in Omaha and light the whole college baseball world on fire. "We gon' run it."
  3. Can't wait to do that one day. Have to sit on the Monstah. If they can start figuring out how to win close games, that would certainly help. The AL East isn't so hot thus far. 23-24 and only 4 GB.
  4. As you should have been - great job, mom. That's fucking bullshit to take pictures of other people's kid; especially so when you don't know them.
  5. Actually kind of fun we'll likely get a team we haven't played this season (Bama or Tenn). Even better it'll be the other team's third or second game, respectively.
  6. Aggy does all the time. Although, they literally did play for one last year. However, ChatGPT has a very nice figurative and symbolic summary of their “championship spirit” and riding the coattails of the SEC: Texas A&M chasing a championship is like a boastful old cowboy strutting down a lonely trail—hat cocked high, spurs jingling loud, bragging about a gold he’s never struck, licking his lips as if every nearby strike was his own, and swearing next year’s the one, same as the last.
  7. Even better that we did it by sweeping aggy and securing the magic number with a win over blowu.
  8. User name fucking checks out!!!
  9. Yeah. I agree that teams are making him throw more strikes instead of just swinging away at his breaking balls. He’s still a very effective pitcher, but the strategy seems out on him now.
  10. Borba and ARod defensive combo is fun…
  11. Burns was dealing. Hindsight is 20/20 and DV is typically nails, but we should have left Burns in longer.
  12. Third Texas pitcher to hit a batter tonight. wtf is with this staff and HBPs? It’s endemic!
  13. Both 4-3 current results just have to hold, right?

When was this model implemented? Prior to the season; or was it some strategic gamesmanship by the conference?
  15. Which is interesting, as Fien and Cunningham are the only players at their respective positions (SS & 3B) in our 2025 recruiting class. Otherwise, it's largely an absolute cornucopia of pitching talent, which will be well received by us all. 2B: Mendoza will be back. 3B: ARod and Borba will be back. One will play 3B, while the other battles for the DH spot. 1B: I'm curious what happens here. Chamberlin? Portal? SS: does Flores come back since he's had huge drop off offensively? Seems 100% likely we go to the portal here, if not. C: any chance Galvan comes back? Can Chamberlin be an every day catcher? Service won't be, and we certainly won't be starting true freshman, Courville. Seems likely we go to the portal here too.

Give me more as I'm not previously initiated to this one. Is it that the Southland is letting their two best teams host "regional" brackets in hopes Southeastern and UTRGV both advance to the championship game as to not sully their selection hopes?
  17. Haha, true. They beat us so badly it just feels like it.
  18. I agree that it's relatively low energy these days. "They're rarely good at the same time" factors heavily into that. However, I know very good friends who are UG alums of both, and each despises the other school - and I'm your age. The olds hate the opposite school even more. For anyone who gives a damn about football at either, I can tell you that they do not like the other.
  19. USC can stand to share a recruit or two. They somehow already have 27 commits!
  20. His only start was at TxSt: It's possible you're thinking of Rerick. Against UTSA, he didn't record an out before being yanked.
  21. That would make a lot more sense based on the age differential. I'm just going off of what 247 has on his profile page. Also 100% agree on the "he needs the ball in his hands" comment.
  22. https://247sports.com/player/jermaine-bishop-46136343/ Ranked as a CB. Tons of production at WR. Just an awesome athlete, overall. Here is a recent eval overview from Gabe Brooks at 247: Also, former KSU QB and huge ass thorn in Texas’ backside, Michael Bishop, is his cousin.
  23. Yep. It was second in the SEC.
