  1. Just providing an answer, no CR, but he's as about far right in his X retweets as one can be.
  2. That part was Shilo, not Shedeur.
  3. Definitely ChatGPT. Commas present and in the correct places. Not to mention the use of "court" instead of "field" or "stadium." Smart kid haha.
  4. Now everybody STFU about DT recruiting!
  5. at :48 seconds. "If you wasn't 235 (pounds), I would've felt that." LMAO.
  6. Yeah, I just looked and so does On3. So, it's entirely possible he could end up there. https://www.on3.com/db/kaydon-finley-156250/
  7. https://247sports.com/player/kaydon-finley-46134911/ Listed as 6'0, 200 lbs. I would assume he'd need to grow another two to three inches to even contemplate playing TE at Texas. I don't know who our resident Aledo expert is here, but maybe they'd have more info on that. Obviously, Finley just started his junior year, so he could still grow in height. His dad was listed at 6'4, so it's entirely possible. It could also be entirely possible he just watches TEs closely due to his dad's background; or that any program that gets TEs heavily involved in the passing attack shows that they utilize a healthy passing games in myriad ways, which could help scheme receivers open too because the defense has to defend more weapons.
  8. Yep, if Texas plays a good (not even great) game, a 10-point (at least) win should occur.
  9. 2026 legacy schedules visit to Texas Kaydon Finley's father is former Texas tight end Jermichael Finley, who redshirted during the program's 2005 national championship season. The younger Finley is a four-star prospect in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Texas will play host to 2026 four-star wide receiver Kaydon Finley for the Georgia game, Horns247 has learned. The Aledo standout is the son of former Longhorn great Jermichael Finley. The 247Sports Crystal Ball already favors Texas for the Top100 recruit, with one prediction from Horns247's Jordan Scruggs. "I love it and I love how they throw the ball to Ja'Tavion Sanders a lot and use the tight ends," Finley told Scruggs at the end of his sophomore season, before Texas' CFP appearance. "It's unbelievable how far they've come and they've made it this far but it's great to see them where they're at and I hope they can go all the way." Finley is ranked the No. 12 wide receiver and the No. 83 overall prospect in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. Texas has one commitment at the wide receiver position in the class of 2026 in four-star prospect, Chris Stewart. The Longhorns are also trending for four-star San Antonio wideout Jordan Clay. Finely could project more as a tight end like his dad with his frame, so it's to be determined regarding his positional fit. — HANK SOUTH
  10. 247 Update on Michael Terry Update on a five-star recruiting battle Michael Terry III is headed to Nebraska this weekend for the Huskers' game against Colorado. He's scheduled to visit Texas on Oct. 19 for the Georgia game. There continues to be little to no news on the recruitment of Alamo Heights five-star athlete Michael Terry III. The nation's No. 1-ranked athlete according to 247Sports will visit Nebraska this weekend to see the Huskers host the Colorado Buffaloes. The trip has been locked in for Terry since he saw Nebraska at the end of July on an unofficial visit. Outside of going to Lincoln for this weekend's game, Terry doesn't have any other visits on his schedule other than making the drive from the greater San Antonio area to the Forty Acres for the Georgia game on Oct. 19. However, sources have indicated that Oregon will make a serious push to get Terry to Eugene the week before when the Ducks welcome Ohio State to Autzen Stadium on Oct. 12. At press time, nothing is set in stone regarding Terry and his family making the trip. Furthermore, there isn't anything to update as far as a timeline for a decision goes and Terry hasn't set a commitment date. However, a source I spoke with on Wednesday said they could see a commitment happening in either September or October rather than November or December. The source I spoke with continues to lean toward the Longhorns' chances over Nebraska and Oregon. They believe if Terry makes it to campus for the Georgia game and Texas wins, the chances of Terry committing before the end of October would increase. No matter the currently scheduled visits or the absence of a definitive decision timeline, we continue to like the Longhorns' chances of winning out for Terry's services when the dust settles. — JORDAN SCRUGGS
  11. 247 The Insider: Nuggets galore ahead of Texas hitting the road to take on Michigan Sark bandwidth now that LHN is gone Personnel discussions, NFL scout roster comparisons to last year Update on Michael Terry's reruitmeant 2026 WR Jaydon Finley (12th-ranked WR, 83rd overall) (yes, that Finley - we're old) schedules a visit
  12. Yeah, this is a really hard game to pick. 31-14 Texas wouldn't surprise me. 27-24 Texas wouldn't surprise me. Hell, while I think Texas should win, 23-20 Michigan is certainly within the realm of possibility.
  13. 247 Injury update on Texas freshman Nic Codie Nic Codie's senior season of high school ended before the Texas high school playoffs because of a knee injury. Rodney Terry said the Longhorns are going to be careful bringing their 6-foot-9-inch signee back to the court. While there are still eight weeks until the Texas men's basketball team tips off the 2024-25 season in Las Vegas against Ohio State, Longhorns' coach Rodney Terry and the coaching staff have been hard at work to make sure a new-look roster is ready to go. True freshman Nic Codie will be a part of that mix at some point. Codie suffered a knee injury in mid-February, just before the start of Carrollton Newman Smith's playoff run. The 247Sports four-star signee (No. 81 overall, No. 13 power forward) is with the team. There is still work/recovery to be done before he's ready to take the floor with the Longhorns. "We're going to be real cautious with Nic," Terry said of the 6-foot-9-inch, 200-pound Codie. "He has a high ceiling of being a really good player in the future. "He doesn't have a great basketball frame because he's a guy that was one of those late bloomers. His best basketball is way ahead of him. He didn't do anything with us this summer. It'll probably be a good portion of the early part of the fall before he has really hard contact. We don't want to rush him. We're going to move really slow with him." — ERIC HENRY
  14. Horns247 Staff Predictions: No. 3 Texas vs. No. 10 Michigan All five 247 staff members picked Texas, with an mean score of 27.8 - 16.6. Four of the five have it as a two-score Texas win.
  15. He's a huge USC fan and alum. UM is a massive brand. They couldn't get an ex Michigan player, famous alum, or even someone connected currently to this state's affairs? Seems odd.
  16. I don't actually know. We should ask balcones.
  17. GLP-1s really work.
  18. I know I hated to see it... "He's ass, my dude" strikes the lil' bro again.
  19. @totallynotabuttpirate reacting to this post is soooo apropos. That's all.
  20. Kevin Wynn and Charles, come on down!
  21. Dabo's cognitive entrenchment, as well as his holier than thou revisionist history regarding what led to his past success, is going to do him in - and I'm all for it.
