Texas is absolutely in the top-tier of football NIL. A tier, you should be reminded, that’s very small. Texas is one of the only programs to have had a top-tier and aligned approach year-over-year thus far. Add in the corporate opportunities in Austin, and the list gets even smaller. Certain schools have wielded an NIL (bag, in the case of aggy) jihad in a given year, but a sustainable and consistent top NIL pool has been a pillar of Texas’ strategy the past three years.
It’s fucking July, people. On-field results, shrinking availability of funds, coaching uncertainly, and Texas altering its approach will all likely affect the outcome here positively for Texas. Overall, this class looks like it’s again going to be really good. Improve it at IDL and DB and it will be outfuckingstanding.
