  1. Looks like Texas is playing Vandegrift, not Vanderbilt. Given where you live, you sure you didn’t list the wrong one in your AI prompt haha?
  2. Oh, he's likely not playing. As I detailed above, he might be progressing through the RTP protocol, but that doesn't mean he'll play, let alone be effective. I do think he'll return for the next game, as there's a bye after this Saturday. He'd have to be experiencing legit lingering symptoms not to. The big question is: did he suffer a concussion at A&M, last year? I feel like we would have heard for certain if he did, but who knows. Nevertheless, in my professional experience, concussions and post-concussion symptoms, are highly variable. Caldwell's backup is KJ Lacey, a true freshman. He's apparently looked good in practice, but I'd rather not him have to play at all in any meaningful sense.
  3. And ironically, while the overall lines weren't that good, he somehow lucked into four OTs that played in the NFL (three that are still playing). Williams Cosmi Anderson Jones Granted, he only recruited two to Texas out of high school (Cosmi and Jones).
  4. Hopefully Bald Mamba or AR15 2.0. Shoots 44% percent from three: "Sterling is a big-time shooter off the basketball who made 44% of his threes, on over 8 attempts per game, during the Pro16 season." Yeah, I'll take that clip, especially on that n value.
  5. The wife is from SB. God, I love getting to visit there. Anyways, he's Texas bound. The Texas roster is going to look like historical Duke soon - and we're not talking just walk ons haha.
  6. This team should be so much more fun to watch (at least offensively) than the past two years. Sure, the defensive efficiency will likely be worse, and we'll lose a couple games because we miss way too many threes, but I doubt we are going to be complaining about a general lack of competitiveness and lack of offensive identity around here. That'll be a nice change.
  7. *Highly likely. Especially given the overt directness re: following the six-step RTP protocol. Would tie hand-in-hand to being coy about whether or not Arch is going to play, as well as following SEC guidelines about being transparent about injury availability. Would be a great strategy, really. **Or the risk for re injury/further TBI.
  8. There's a loony extrapolation. I never said I cared about my rep - simply that I'd outlast you. Again, don't fucking call people retarded.
  9. What might the Texas offense look like if Matthew Caldwell is QB1 against Vanderbilt? - Howe (OTF)
  10. Keep it up. We'll see how this act works out for you. Maybe keep calling people retards while you're at it.
  11. If the dude wants to be a hyperbolic, petulant dickhead, especially as a newer poster, I'll gladly keep matching him neg for neg and race him to the bottom.
  12. We absolutely need the mobile version of Arch. I don't like rushing him back even if he's cleared - that doesn't mean Texas gets an effective Arch Manning. Given there's a bye after this week, I'd be inclined to start Caldwell and bring Arch in only if Caldwell struggles.
  13. Thursday - Bobby Big Notes: Sark also relayed that Manning practiced on Wednesday which means he is progressing through the concussion protocol timeline cleanly. We also know that Taaffe practiced in a green jersey on Tuesday and Hutson is attempting to return for the Vandy game. Perhaps Texas could get all three starters to return in time for this weekend.
  14. Helobious is basically Carl. However, instead of "a lack of thots," it's undersized athletes of Latino decent, guys from small Texas towns, and underdog stories. Fuck the manufactured drama post. No one here misses that self-absorbed quitter and his budget circus of a mom.
  15. Recruiting: 2026 Big Board headed into November (6:57am CT) - Gerry
  16. Here's the full update from his sis:
  17. Wednesday - Bobby Bobby breaks down the six-stage RTP protocol for concussions. Very long shot that Arch plays.
  18. Maybe this is the solution to all our problems: natty? 1. Winning a natty would clear the sand from everyone’s vaginas here. 2. Natty Light is basically water. Thus, Sark can drink and still #allgas. GDGD, this place is a fucking beating. Do y’all really think if Sark skipped out on all of those things because he was on a month-long bender he’d still have a job?
  19. Tuesday - Bobby Biggest Note: "I fully expect Matthew Caldwell to be the starting quarterback for the Horns on Saturday." Also, Bobby echos @TheBryMan81's scouting upthread on Caldwell: "Caldwell relies much more on shorter passing routes. He likes to throw on time and get the ball out quick, sort of like Quinn Ewers. And while he can zip it in there (his pass in the Florida game is an example), he seems to prefer to layer a pass and take the sure gains. As a runner, he uses his quickness more than his power or outright speed. Great post, btw, @TheBryMan81. I need to rep you elsewhere - your post is def worth more than +1. In all, he’s a highly capable backup. He will do some things really well, but will have his limitations, too." Bobby's prediction: "Texas 22 - Vandy 20"
  20. Yeah, guys, that's not a real post lmao.
  21. Monday - Bobby Sark: QB Arch Manning Did NOT Practice Monday - Vogel
  22. Ended up as a 2-0 final for Texas. Season is over with no shot at postseason play (4-12-1, 2-8). Now, the wait begins.
  23. We going to convert Burnt Ends to a buyout fund to get ready for the 60M figure? Fuck.
  24. Arch has no understanding of where he is when he throws balls under pressure. Stop halting drives and throw the damn ball away; not to RBs that are going to lose 5+ yards.
