  2. Guarantee you the things she's buying are full of sugar, alcohol and nicotine.
  3. Couldn't remember his name fully so I just called him DJ.
  4. Well yeah, but back in those days, I think that was a requirement to play for the celtics. Danny Ainge, DJ, Kevin Frankenstein, and Parish were the all time greats at being ugly while playing basketball. That team was one for the ages in that department.
  5. All these years, I had no idea that my hatred for Stockton made me part of a legion. I didn't realize we were so numerous. That guy never did shit against any teams I cared about, so it wasn't even that I disliked him because he was good against my teams, like Larry Bird, who can also fuck right off, but that hatred came because of his greatness and not because he was a sniveling piece of shit, which is what Stockton looked like to me at the time and I guess he's confirmed it for us all now.
  6. Yep had a string of girlfriends, she was my last one. We broke up when I was 24. I could go on and on about her putting me off of women but no, truth is, had my first boyfriend and my first girlfriend in junior high. The boyfriend was because I liked cock and the string of girlfriends because I lived in small town Texas and it wasn't ok to like cock. Took me a long time to realize, once I moved to Austin, that I didn't live in that small town anymore and it was ok to just like cock and quit keeping up appearances. I am not a gold star gay.
  7. Yep sorry I wasn't clear. There are tantrum throwers in this thread. I don't see you as one of them.
  8. Except we do put those mandates on smoking and alcohol in government by prohibiting those not of a certain age from partaking, and private companies also provide both carrots and sticks for weight loss and smoking/alcohol cessation. This doesn't feel like a completely black/white issue to me and it's frustrating to see so many people try to argue black/white so emotionally, when the answer lies in the gray. We are never going to be able to properly define the gray if the people yelling for black and the people yelling for white can't quit publicly tantruming long enough for the conversation to even happen.
  9. My last girlfriend was a bartender at Expose and she was paranoid and an alcoholic. She would periodically bring over hundreds of dollars in 20's and ask me to hide them for her in case someone broke into her apartment.
  10. I go to Chicago a lot for work. Every time I tell my Grandmother I'm heading there, she has a freakout about me getting killed by gang violence. Every. Time. This is a semi-regular point of discussion for my dad to this day. He's concerned that we've gotten rid of our police force and no matter how many times I explain to him what actually happened, he just needs to make sure I'm being safe with no police 3 or 4 times a year. It's amazing, really.
  11. I always thought that show was about the Night Tripper singer from New Orleans.
  12. WTF, no. Chips was awesome because John and Ponch were hot. Also Bo and Luke, and for the challenged among you, Daisy. Meat Loaf did not have that going for him. At all. Terrible terrible take.
  13. I thought he did more than just play a part in Rocky Horror Picture Show so I was going to say maybe that for a very small subset of people (mostly a certain type of person in Gen X and older), but I never really understood that phenomenon either, so yeah, I'm with you. I have periodically since they passed thought of a Prince or a George Michael or a Kenny Rogers and been sad they died and played one of their songs in tribute. That won't ever happen for anything he ever did.
  14. What was really a surprise, he's a Buddhist. Or at least he was for the Lunar new year in 2019.
  15. I'll happily administer the tests as long as I get to pick the participants! Also, ok you all have had your fun bickering back and forth about who's on ignore and whose not, but jesus fuck it's time to act like you aren't 10 and move on.
  16. The incidence of myocarditis in young males is higher in young males who actually get COVID than that get it from the vaccine, as a Joe Rogan video upstream in this thread showed. You might want to rethink this argument based on that data.
  17. What you aren't getting here is that with proper vaxxing and masking this current variant probably never would've existed. So yes, it potentially could've been avoided. What we have to hope is that as Omicron rages it doesn't spawn some new, worse variant.
  18. I gotta say, Gary Chambers doesn't have a shot in hell here, but I love him anyway. I started following him after his dressing down of Connie and I think we need more people like him in government.
  19. That basically sums up the modern Republican platform. "The rules apply to you, but not to me."
  20. Looks like he's showing off to the world that he has a teensy dick in picture 1 and picture 4. That explains why you see pictures 2 and 3. Small dicked person with small dick problems.
  21. Fucking John Belushi, now that would be a story.
  22. Keep struggling. Except for a very very very tiny minority of people who actually do have medical reasons for not getting vaxxed, the others have no rationale and can not give you a concrete answer, at least not one based in reality.
  23. So Austin is back to stage 5 which means we're supposed to wear our masks inside stores. As I was picking up some supplies at Lowe's yesterday, I saw something that made me want to be a dick. This motherfucker was walking around unmasked with his unmasked wife and their unmasked baby (too tiny to be a toddler) and he was wearing a 3XL shirt with the quote "Don't be a dick" covering the entirety of his sizeable back. I wonder if he woke up that day and said "I'm going to go out and public and be a dick while I'm wearing my don't be a dick shirt" or if he was just totally unaware. Stupid or evil, I can never decide which one I struggle with the most.
  24. Texas GOP has incredibly short memories. It wasn't until COVID happened that Democrats really voted absentee in large numbers. That was the GOP cleanup hitter. When COVID is over, I'm sure it would go right back to it, except they've done whatever they can to make it more difficult for their team to get votes. Makes no fucking sense to me.
