  1. Fumble at the one?  What the fuck are you talking about?  A kid who has played most of his recruitment very close to the vest appears to now be leaning away from Texas.  The same people that said just a week ago that he was heavily leaning towards Texas and all their predictions pointed to Texas are now saying the opposite.  The only thing that has changed is the quality of the intel at these shitty websites not that there was some significant development on Texas' side and someone dropped the ball on the recruitment?

I see.  So it's a case of what they are not doing rather than they are doing something differently.  I can see that.  It does appear that international players care more to a certain extent about passing rather than volume scoring.  The ones being drafted early do seem to contribute more quickly than the American lottery players.

Club teams in Europe are set up like their soccer counterparts with Academies and youth teams.  They play limited games and spend the vast majority of their time until they are ready practicing skills/improving fundamentals.  They do things fundamentally differently everywhere else in the world.

  3. Holy Hell.  Play four days of the Main.  Get dealt AA.  Bill Klein raises 60K ($1.6 million).  You flat (700K0.  Rigby calls (95% vpip...lol).  Player in SB with 1.1 million dollar stack jams all in with AQ offsuit.  Klein calls.  AA guy calls.

$2 million chip main pot.  $1.1 side pot (rough estimates)

Flop K and two unders.  Bingo Bongo - Klein gonna have a $3.5 million chip stack.

    Turn J

    River 10

This game is a cruel, cruel mistress.

I'm going to be honest.  That looked incredible.  I say that as someone who never really understood why they were remaking this even though the first one was a beautiful well-made movie.

And by first one I definitely mean the first part of this two-part movie as opposed to the version with Sting in it.  LOL

I just want to have that raw confidence to feel sure your AA will win there rather than just thinking "pleasejesuschristdon'tgivehimdiamondsnodeucenodeuce"

This.  His overconfidence there makes me think he doesn't play much.  LOL

On the PLO hand, I think you have to call due to pot odds with your flush draw and overpair.  I think there is a small chance you scoop but the odds he scoops is pretty similar if not slightly less.  Mostly you chop IMHO.  But I will definitely defer to the PLO specialists on here.

  6. I agree with Lurch's logic.  I just don't think in the normal 1-2 game you see much three betting from early position with big aces against button raises even though it is the right play.  But it's 200 BB deep so maybe the skill is a little higher.  My thought though is that his showing an A and checking the Turn makes it highly likely that you have him outkicked.  So do you think he is going to check back the river if you check behind?  His check and show on the turn makes me think he's going to check back on the river as well 90% of the time.  So I think you lead out a smallish half pot bet on turn.  If you get raised, you have to call and it's a cooler if your behind.  If he doesn't reraise, then reevaluate on river depending on card and what he does.  But likely still comfortable getting it all in.

I agree that whether to prosecute Hillary was a close question and that what she did was selfish and reckless.

I think she just wanted private email on a blackberry and didn't think through or even really understand the potential consequences of that as far as placing national defense information and state secrets in a very insecure location.

Does that absolve her of criminal liability?  No.  Does it mean she should or should not have been prosecuted?  I dunno, tough call.  I am reasonably certain that if she was prosecuted, she'd get and deserve a sweetheart deal like Petraeus got.  And what he did was worse and he damn sure should have known better.

Further, I agree that what Trump has done is a whole other level.  And it is so consistent with exactly what makes him unfit for the presidency or any other public office really, that basically a) demands prosecution and b) a conventional (i.e. what everyone else would get) penalty.

I do not consider her that naive.  Historically she's never been naive.

The whole email server thing is not Hillary issue, it's a full government one. That practice started with Powell and Bush, was never made explicitly illegal, so has become a standard practice (which I think is wrong). Time to move on from that.

Sure it's a Hillary issue.  If you want to say that it is also a Powell and Bush issue.  That's fine.  I believe I read that Ivanka or some others in Trump's admin did some private email stuff as well.  Arrest them all.
