  1. Now they had to measure them first. LOL
  2. Money isn't everything...........
  3. It seems to me the staff should have gotten its head out of its ass the minute that Michigan hired their head coach and offensive line coach. Both coaches are good (especially their Oline coach by most accounts) so I would anticipate that they would work with boosters to retain the two linemen.
  4. Disagree. The angst is why those players haven't already been brought on campus for visits. We have known for several days now that two of the three players that were part of our interior OL gameplan were out. There is no reason to wait on one of three to decide they are also going to return before getting your next three up. I mean by the time they visit they could be locked into other schools.
  5. Dumbfounded stupidity of reality that I felt the need for confirmation.
  6. So going in we had a plan to sign three IOL when the portal opens: Only for one player to not meet whatever height or weight measurement you have for the position. One choosing to return to his original home. And one still deciding now four days in. That was our entire OL strategy for the portal? We didn't want to line up visitors on Monday or Tuesday on the off chance things fell through with our first three options?
  7. Right - other than the one that he already had where he was promised $2 million more by LSU when at that point in time he was not in the portal.
  8. Should we refer to Clark as 4x from now on?
  9. Understood and I get that evaluating at the high school level each year is the preferred route for the developmental types. I guess I thought with the +25 or so scholarship limit increase that a school like Texas would contemplate adding in a few low risk (BC their NIL is low) high reward types (if you scout/recruit well) to fill those spots. I know we got a chunk of those with our high school recruiting this year and get that they are the most likely scenario for developing players.
  10. I get that Texas is prioritizing recruiting starters. I thought when the SEC expanded football rosters recently that each SEC school would pick up 5-10ish players in the portal that I would say aren't the starter types but could provide some additional roster depth in the short term or be a longer-term project type player that they hope they could develop. I know that their is a risk as these players are typically in the portal because they usually unhappy with playing time/their development. I know we also took some additional 3* types in high school recruiting this year that look to develop and not start immediately.
  11. He understands. He just has two million of reasons to not give a fuck
  12. Funny how the lsu qb kid got an offer despite not being in the portal yet
  13. LOL. Until they go back to their original school
  14. I love that we got the Rutgers cb. We started the day with our roster locked down and Baugh and the Michigan linemen in the que. We end with rumors of having to lock down three or four of our current players still. Lsu?
  15. Clark just tripled his NIL offer. LOL
  16. It's 100% on Sark who allows results like flying people in to be measured
  17. Scouting college football and identifying the limited pool of players who enter the portal that fit what our coaches want. They should know exactly what the kids height and weight without spending limited first weekend time on someone who doesn't fit what the coach wants.
  18. This blows my mind. The utter lack of competence on the GM side.
  19. Aggie insiders were running a victory lap. Then Brauny posted.
  20. That is the most Aggie insider we are winning Aggie update of all time. Sounds like Coleman to Tech. Not surprising when we all knew he was going to the highest bidder. Love the vandy kid as a plan b. If we land the Wisconsin lb and the two Michigan lineman I will not be sweating the wr miss if it happens. There is still a lot of depth at wr and rb.
  21. Is it possible this was the potential moonshot. Not to give credence to any $9.95'er pedaling that info, but he is one of the better defensive players to portal to date.
