  1. I've never seen anything like it. Ever.
  2. If I had been in for 20 years for a crime I did not commit, fuck the entire system - I'm not taking an Alford plea or pleading guilty if I am innocent. They can pull my innocent rotting bones from my cell.
  3. I think they've reacted to other Shhhs also so I don't think it means Lindberg per se
  4. I get that some components of the report need to be refined or redacted for public consumption as they may give away intelligence related issues. I just don't understand how after so many Rs spoke out about wanting it to be made public now Turtle and Rs don't want the actual report out there.
  5. I agree. Movie tried to hard. It was still entertaining and well-acted as hell. Cinematography and Music were great. But when you get home and read an article about it that explains some things it helps clearly, but it also means someone wrote the article and I read the article because the in-movie explanation was too muddled.
  6. Honestly, these last four pages may perfectly encapsulate all that is wrong in this country.
  7. I think Wikileaks would have opened with that if it was.
  8. I'm going to bet against the anonymous reporting of the end / no more indictments. If I didn't hear a similar story just last week. Then Rosenstein extended his stay.
  9. That was a great trailer. In.
  10. The simple explanation why this thread has so many posts is simple. Aggie can't stop acting in a manner worthy of jokes or condemnation. It's not becaue they are in anyone's heads. That and we are better organized in putting all our trash in one gigantic pile of shit. Or maybe it could also be Randolph Duke. Tough to say. But nothing to do with someone being in our heads.
  11. Great post. I don't mean to sound like I don't think it's of value discussing any aspect of recruiting or how some of those failures at a particular position group impact things on the field or even indicate a greater problem with a particular position coach or the school/ad. I enjoy the hell out of everyone's post even the meltdowns for the lulz. I was just trying to say that sometimes recruits decisions don't implicate the coach directly or even the school. Especially when the 9.95ers feed everyone bullshit for subscriptions. But I also recognize that some of the shit I'm saying is clearly rubbing people the wrong way so I'll back away from the keyboard some and reevaluate as I'm not trying to be a windbag or troll. I've been reading shit here for a long, long time and truly appreciate what everyone else posts here especially those that I do believe have inside info.
  12. I've never said it always works out. We missed out Peterson and it burns because of how good he was. Our coaches fucked all the qb decisions the last thee years of the Mack Brown era. It has an impact on the field and that's why it's fun to track. But this staff works its ass off in my opinion compared to the last two. They fill in with JUCOs. I have faith that they will still find ways to get the job done. I'm just saying I don't understand overreacting so much about one recruit when half the information about the recruit is 9.95er bullshit that is being packaged to sell subscriptions. While being a legacy is important, it doesn't hold that every legacy commits. While being close in proximity to Austin helps, we are now recruiting nationally as well. I get why losing a left tackle to Stanford is awful because our coach dropped a gigantic shit at his families house. I don't mean to imply everything works out or it's all good. Just that there are very little locks with 18 year old kids and none of us outside of a select few on here (not me) have any real insights to what is going on behind the scenes.
  13. Because I get some back story on the kids that play football and their recruitment. I read actual quotes from the players at times. I can see how hard this coaching staff works compared to the last two at recruiting. I'm not saying it's not fun to talk recruiting. Just that melting down over one 18 year old isn't worth it.
  14. I guess I just think it's stupid to melt down. We lose Dontavious Jackson to FSU and recruit Gary Johnson the next cycle. Everything turned out OK at MLB the last two years. We may be in heavy on a kid who commits to Penn State but then we look stronger the following year for Evans. Shit happens. Not every legacy within 20 miles commits here. It's not a disaster if he wants to go to Alabama or Aggie or wherever to go to school. Coaches should push for Collins, but there are probably three different fan bases being told different reasons why Collins should head there way. Until the kid makes his choice on the way to the podium (fuck you ej) because the decision went up to the last second and he didn't wake up knowing what school he was going to choose.
  15. Of course the board will melt down. Just like they melted down with the rb last year who committed to Penn state.. Just like they did with Leal. And over and over again. Maybe we should break the 9.95 wheel.
  16. Why? Kids make the choices they make for tons of different reasons. No one is a lock for Texas just because family ties or high school or anything. It's the coaches jobs to recruit players they believe will help us win a national championship and have back up plans ready if they don't. Every 9.95er has their bullshit spin for their school. Depth chart, friends who are already on the team, parents who went to the school, the incredible personal rleationship that player has with only their coach. It's all bullshit.
  17. You would think we failed to hit 1000 pages on the other thread or something.
  18. You have more faith in the American public than they deserve.
  19. Battered Bastards of Baseball was fantastic
  20. We are so bad in the final two minutes of a game. If we win this, Shaka should give 25% of his salary to Bill Self.
  21. Do I wait to try to capitalize on the recent mosque shooting to gain followers or do I post now?? What a cunt.
  22. He killed 25+ easy. I don't know what initial reports were, but there were a lot of people huddled in a corner. Props to the guy who almost tackled him. May he rest in peace
  23. It's a good contrast to see this team compared to how they were the first few games to start the season. I think they are worse than when they started.
  24. Kansas is so bad we are still in this damn game.
