  1. I’ve shot a legit 0.5 MOA out to 600 with Federal GMM. No more often than I shoot precision and for the price it is selling for right now I have no need to load.
  2. I’d try to get one sub from each position, if all of the subs you know are from closed guard and you don’t have time to learn top game then I’d practice pulling guard and not worry about take downs. There is no point in getting on top in a sub only event if you only know bottom subs. Once you have one good sub I’d work to clean them up and getting the muscle memory built. Another good thing to try and work is transitions between subs you know I.e. triangle to omaplata or triangle to armbar. A lot of times it’s the second attack that lands. More cardio is always better but not at the detrement of mat time. If you can sneak in some runs or something at lunch that’d be good but I wouldn’t skip class to go on a run. I used to be able to hang with some guys above me based on cardio and movement but I’ve missed more the past year and have lost a step and definitely feel it with the better guys.
  3. I meant more with having Georgia at 2 ahead of an undefeated Clemson.
  4. The regard is strong with Brian

Hopefully the kid has a normal middle name but the mother deserves everything she has to deal with.
  6. I work in O&G; colors on graphs and presentations are always: oil-green, gas-red, water-blue. I get ragey when someone is too lazy to change the Excel/PPT default colors and ruins the ability to quickly look at a graph and know what is going on. This might belong in the Trivial thread
  7. Opening the first beer on a long weekend.
  8. Probably just the angle making her mane look extra fluffy. She's pretty small for a white German shepherd at 52lbs. Rescued her 10 years ago so she's going on 11. One Christmas at a time with her at this stage. I feel you there. We have a border collie that turns 15 in a couple weeks, last year my wife had a mini breakdown over the holidays that it might be our last with her. Looks like we are getting another one but time is definitely not on our side anymore.
  9. Here you go:
  10. FIFY
  11. I can usually pick up enough to be dangerous from videos, I have a slew of GrappleArts and Budo apps on my phone. The piece I haven’t figured out is the time management side to get into a routine of regularly using them. The past few years I’ve used Black Friday to pick a up a handful of discounted instructionals that tie in with my current interest.

    Those dresses though
  13. If only NG stocks would follow suit, I have some CHK, RRC and GPOR I’d really like to unload.
  14. I love my Raptor (2014) it is the most comfortable vehicle I have driven. For the past 5+ years before the Raptor my back would start locking up 2-3 hours into a trip. The only big road trip in the Raptor I went almost 6 hours with no problems. Down side is nothing is cheap, I put front and rear bumpers and side rails on my Jeep for $500. The rear bumper I want for the truck is $2,000. I really liked the Tundras but couldn’t configure a 2017 the way I wanted. I wanted some of the Platinum features and some of the TRD Pro features but couldn’t get it from the factory. The lack of options was the big downside I had with Toyota.
  15. You can get those from a dirty toilet, you know.
  16. I have this dream of self study one position or movement a month and then trying to drill it and hit it live. I’ve yet to follow through on this idea. I have plenty of videos/apps I’ll watch when traveling but never with the consistency to follow through once home.
  17. Anyone using the Grapplers Guide? I’m tempted to do their Black Friday sale. I’m awful at using videos and self study but I’m hoping to make it a study point in the future
  18. Saw Jack Ingram and Hayes Carll with just the two of them on stage telling stories and playing songs, Jack was much more talkative and interactive than Hayes. The show was one of the more fun I’ve been to lately even though the set list was fairly limited.
  19. And he only needed 17 shots to get those 2 points. Definition efficiency there.
  20. Along the same lines in an empty restaurant and the hostess seats people right next to you. I get they are trying to help the servers but those extra 3 steps to get an empty booth buffer aren’t going to be the difference in hot or cold food
  21. Brain cyst FTW. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25128672/urban-meyer-ohio-state-buckeyes-details-brain-cysts-cause-headaches
  22. I have a 14oz option using this: https://m.keurig.com/content/reusable-coffee-filter
  23. Getting to the bar early and being the only person there
  24. This came on driving around today and seemed appropriate here. I’m not sure it’s even Chris Knight's saddest song, his voice and lyrics can create such a somber tone. The loss of ones dreams gives a different sadness.
