  2. Best of luck. It’ll be interesting to see how many technical professionals cut since 2015 just bail and leave the industry. I was talking to a landman buddy of mine who graduated around 2010, I think he said something like 4 of his class of 20ish were still in the industry.
  3. There are 7 or 8 breweries within a mile or so of Prairie all with a little different vibe and style. Also a new beer hall right off the park with 100 taps. It may be the best option to try a variety of locals.
  4. Had Left Hand Peanut Butter Milk stout and was fairly disappointed. Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout is one of my go tos when there aren’t any good stouts on the menu so I was surprised not to like the PB seasonal as much. Also had Boulevard Restless Nights and really enjoyed it.
  5. I’m constantly on the hunt for a good $25 bottle of whiskey. Current favorites are base Four Roses, Old Granddad 114 and Rittenhouse Rye BiB. We did the Bourbon Trail last year and hit 23 distilleries and sampled over 100 spirits. It was awesome to see all of the little variations people do (Woodford steams warehouses in the winter, FR only builds single story rick houses, etc) but it also really helped define my palate. I prefer a younger (cheaper) whiskey for the spicier flavor profile with more of the cinnamon and heat profiles. At multiple distillers we had an entry level side by side with a mid to upper and preferred the entry. Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare is the side by side I remember most with the preference to BT. We met Jimmy Russell and got him to sign a bottle of Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Rye. Not sure if it will ever get drunk.
  6. A few ideas to run either as standalone or as some sort of codependent variable: A: How many questions does she ask where you have the exact same knowledge base I.e. watching a movie together for the first time. B: How many questions does she ask with optional answers where the answer you give is ignored in favor of the other option. C. How many questions does she ask that she continues to explain and justify even after receiving an answer.

  8. Sorry to hear. We went through it with our last dog. Had breast cancer removed at 13/14 and ended up losing her 2 years later to a brain tumor. This book was great and they have an active Facebook and email group. Highly recommended, it gave me a good knowledge base to talk with the vet on treatments. https://dogcancerbook.com
  9. Here is a nice report from the EIA. They predict renewables over taking oil in 2050 worldwide but oil+NG still being the top source. The also predict a 33% growth in hydrocarbon demand. https://www.eia.gov/outlooks/ieo/
  10. There is an index fund for anything you can think of. Boglehead forum has a great intro for index funds and recommend a total US, total international and total bond fund.
  11. You should have acted excited and told her you couldn’t wait to get home and soil them with her daughter.
  12. Changed out all my O2 sensors today. Hopefully that fixes the occasional rough idle and CEL.
  13. I’m playing Jackson and Crowder. FML they have 65 points on 2 players Thursday night
  14. Sounds like he is playing. I have him as well and just checked the ESPN Fantasy App.
  15. Stuck with a Thursday night decision: Bell against BAL or Freeman against SF. Bell worries me coming off the flu but Freeman has been a disappointment all season.
  16. You body shaming jerk. Get her a bottle of gin to go with it
  17. I’ll have to check it out. I bought a can of Penetrol which has gotten great reviews. If I’m disappointed I’ll try to 303.
  18. All of onshore, looks like about 600,000 BPD in 2018.
  19. Hers is AWD so don’t even have that dynamic. I understand my DD is a Raptor with a Jeep on the side. I’m just an occasional passenger in the MB.
  20. We have a 16 that we have been happy with other than the shit Pirelli run flats that were bald at 22,000 miles. It’s comfortable and has plenty of room. Gets around town fine and is much easier to get in and out of for me than the previous Lexus car. We went CPO with 8,000 miles on it saved 20% on sticker and then added two years to the warranty for a grand total of 6 years bumper to bumper with unlimited mileage through MB. All of the 5 seater crossovers have morphed into the same car. The MB CPO was by far the best option though.
  21. I’ve continued to rebuild mine a piece at a time. Next project is to try and get the faded plastic black again. Here she is pre and post suspension work this spring
  22. I didn’t know they ever stopped. Seems like about weekly I hear of someone having another big layoff.
  23. How long do you think it’ll be until most everything on the road is that quiet?
  24. My left shoulder is screwy, I think it’s from a nasty Americana a few years ago but can’t prove it. A couple of years ago I did 6-8 weeks of PT but didn’t fix it for good. I’m trying to do some basic mobility work each day but still bind up. I’ve also had some knots around my scapula that were causing pain in the front of my shoulders. I have a ShouldeRok to try and get better but haven’t ever gotten into a routine with it. I’ve looked hard at Crossover Symetry but feel it would sit as well.
