I was watching the Aggy safety on 2nd down and it looked like even he thought it was a run. This is the worst OC I have seen since the current LSU coach
That was a replay of the Miami ending debacle. We got the ball back with no timeouts, again. And again we go four plays without attempting a forward pass down the field. It was inexcusable the first time.
Sigh. I was in the stands the last time A&M came to South Bend, 2000. We opened the season with four home games vs then ranked teams: #25 A&M, #1 Nebraska, #13 Purdue (Drew Brees Sr year, beat Ohio St and lost Rose Bowl) #23 Michigan State (Nick Saban's players).
I remember being very impressed by their marching band but not the team, which was the easiest of those four. We won a fun but ho-hum game 24-10.
I forgot about The Exorcist. There are only a few where the genre is an eponym for one film. Since it came out they make a bunch of exorcism movies every year.
Another in Bond. The spy who is glamorous is defined by James Bond and he is defined by Goldfinger.
We had an ethanol plant. I guess they just stacked the refuse outside.
In the newspaper era there was a window in the 1990s where the uninformed thought that A&M was the superior program. We usually first noticed the SWC when the Cotton Bowl was announced. After the Eric Dickerson offensive spectacular (beat Pitt 7-3 in 1983) A&M was the only SWC school who won their own bowl for almost a generation.
