  1. All for it. But the Irish in me notes they are still favored by about -1.
  2. It seemed like their territory overlapped with the MAC and Sun Belt but they didn't have the programs with a bit of tradition.
  3. He was still alive!?
  4. I'm from New Hampshire, and had no idea what they were talking about. Turns out Manchester College rebranded itself for more online appeal. It's no Texas, but the region of NH that gets the Boston media has a different feel than the hick towns.
  5. The real reason Keith Jackson retired.
  6. That inequity can be seen all the way from the SWC. The small schools still get to pad wins for UT et al but no longer got a seat at the table.
  7. That one turned into an eating disorder monster.
  8. That was the opinion on our boards. Marist was good in certain situations but would probably still be available in later rounds.
  9. I was a loyal fan. He weirded out around 2005 and then moving to TBS was a kill shot.
  10. Lolawyers. WE can't put the killer in jail but we can sure sue him for all he is worth. and then never collect a quarter.
  11. Syntax. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Yes the conduct of the government established reasonable doubt against itself. It seems to be a question of individual philosophy, Should you vote guilty or not guilty if the gov rigged it against the actual criminal?
  12. He was much better than the writers of that era
  13. It irks me that we never beat Simpson; only two games because he started at City College. OJ cut us up in 67. 68 was a tie despite the Irish pressing the juice to 55 yards rushing. Ara Parseghian's offenses had two first half leads and two second half goose eggs. The closest to justice would be the 1969 Rose Bowl, where #1 Ohio State came back, after OJ's 80 yd td, against #2 SC with defensive coach (DC!?) Lou Holtz. The articles say that Simpson threw an interception.
  14. Most everyone says "football" few could answer the follow up, what team did OJ play for? So far my favorite answer came from a couple of 20-somethings at my globogym, He was the guy found not guilty of murder because his lawyer was Kim Kardashian's father.
  15. A young girl north of town fell into a well, I wondered if it was you.
  16. I thought OJ missed his chance during the 2020 BLM riots to get back in the spotlight as a social justice warrior. I was mildly surprised because he had always been in the public eye. You can tell what generation you are by answering the question, Why is OJ famous?
  17. Does the chancellor at SMU live in a tower and talk to a black ball?
  18. It doesn't feel that old because the actors lived a long time. Angel and the LT seem to have just died. also https://slate.com/culture/2014/07/the-rockford-files-episode-that-inspired-the-sopranos-1979s-just-a-coupla-guys.html
  19. It's about the health and size of the sport. That will supply the ratings for the games. The super league types want to remove a few pounds of flesh from the entire sport.
  20. It draws clicks to tournament and local news coverage even far from those 'power teams.' Only hard bball fans would care that UK was upset but when it was done by the other Oakland, it was on the local news all over the country.
  21. It's like getting stabbed in the back by 5/12 of a knife.
  22. Then the ACC as we know it is dead man walking. Those are the two most valuable football schools and therefore the most important.
  23. Classic movie with John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin has all classic scenes. AND, great supporting characters. (can't find the full scene where Wayne bursts in on school) forgotten newspaper man actor stole every scene. #abeer'snotdrinkin
