  1. Coach talks about playing team offense and that players have options during certain situations on offense. That you have to play to the situation, especially players like Duplantier. That this is needed now even more with the injuries. This is adapting to the current circumstances. This just makes so much sense A very interesting point made was that if Riojas was to remain a starter, the bullpen had to be expanded. I think a lot of people here will remember how short the Texas bullpen got a few years ago and it costs us in Omaha. It was down to a starter, a reliever, and then a closer basically the entire CWS. He said that Moffet and Saunier had shown progress in bullpen sessions with the help of Weiner, and they became part of this expanded pen. This really helped after the extra inning game followed by another early start the next day. This is quality coaching; he sees a problem and uses another quality coach in Weiner to fix it. This team and the Texas Baseball program is in very good hands.
  2. Aggy heading to Arkansas this weekend starting on Thursday has become suddenly an interesting series. Will tell us a lot about the status of both teams when it is completed.
  3. Due to recent developments, Aggy going to Fayetteville for a series starting on Thursday becomes suddenly more interesting than it was first thought to be. The results of the series could tell us a lot about where both teams are at that point.
  4. SEC Standings Records include games against Division I opponents only. Streaks include games against all opponents. 5. Solo first place for Texas fifteen games deep in their first SEC season, not bad Schloss.
  6. With two outs and nobody on in the bottom of the 12th Georgia walks it off with a solo homer. Fifteen games deep into their first season in the SEC, Texas is now in first place alone at 13-2.
  7. Pig scores a run to take a 6-5 lead in the 11th. Two out and nobody on for Georgia in the bottom half. Then a HBP, sound familiar, a double in the gap in left center ties it again at 6-6, Georgia with a shot still for a game winner.
  8. Georgia barely hung on yesterday in the ninth, not as lucky today, tied at 5-5 now.
  9. Moffett is a real wildcard, that does need to be played more.
  10. Sanier hangs in for the win. Bon Ton Roulet. Get out of the bluegrass asap.
  11. Navarre up in the bullpen, not expected.
  12. I like how Galvan went over and said something to him, if anybody can understand what he's going through today it's him.
  13. Max will be back at least by post season, but reports lately even before that.
  14. Maybe found a new arm to work with, sure needed him today. I guess he starts the ninth but have somebody up and ready. Dre most likely, maybe Volantis can give you a batter, lefty on lefty hitter.
  15. Tell who, like the Kentucky coaches monitor this board or don't have a detailed scouting report. You really are not very bright.
  16. You don't let Gasparino extend, pitch him inside, especially with two strikes.
  17. Good job by Saunier to get out of it.
  18. Trying a new arm, in a tough spot.
  19. Dre only threw 19 pitches yesterday; he should be available today.
  20. Mendoza keeps slashing the ball to right.
  21. Very close, pitcher's foot in the air was close to be pointing toward the plate. Would have to see the angle from the first base side.
  22. Schuessler gets the single instead and an extra 90 feet for Gasparino and now he scores on the sacrafice fly.
  23. Hard to argue interference with a throw when no throw was made.
  24. I think the saving grace for Riojas there is that he had already taken a couple of steps with the ball in his glove and thus the out was already signaled.
  25. You can't get caught up in all this and lose your game. Throw your pitches and trust your stuff.
