  1. Took a while for Kentucky to start imploding too.
  2. Speaking of bad left field play. That guy wound up and hesitated and still uncorked a terrible throw.
  3. Some bad baseball going on in this inning for both sides, but Kentucky just took the lead on that kangaroo hopping right fielder.
  4. Put it in play and things happen. Third baseman throw bit him for the first time.
  5. Finally, a hitter hits a pitcher.
  6. Duplantier may have a worse arm and can't hit either. Left field is a black hole.
  7. Grubbs coming in and needs to keep up the form he has been showing.
  8. Arkansas and Georgia tied 3-3 in Athens, in the seventh. Big series there.
  9. Baby Shark is more barrable up multiple runs.
  10. Hit it hard but an at em ball.
  11. Another good at bat for Flores and this time it pays off for him and the Horns.
  12. At least they're making this guy throw a lot of pitches. The bullpen is supposed to be their weakness.
  13. Flores just missed a two-run shot.
  14. Rodriguez being the DH doesn't mean he's not physically capable of playing third, that's happened plenty of times. We just don't know yet, unless it's been confirmed by the coaching staff.
  15. Good to have Rodriguez back in the lineup. Wonder if he can play third yet or not? Winfield with another start.
  16. The stylings of Lowell Galindo on the play by play for this Aggy game on ESPNU. South Carolina 2-10 in SEC play vs 3-9 Aggy at Collie. USC leads 3-1 in the bottom of the third, but the pitching has been shaky for both sides.
  17. Ode To Christian Clark Oh, Christian I thought your limbs were broken, but you proved to be as tough as the tree called Bois D'arc. You have proved to be a Superman. If only your last name was Kent and your first name was really Clark.
  18. I never thought Christian Clark would be back before Baxter and doing as well as he is. That was a very nasty injury he suffered. I wondered if could even play football again. Great that he is back and becoming a key figure, it seems at running back. Hope that Baxter does the same soon. Texas will probably still go after a running back in the portal if they can get one that they want. Running back is becoming a position that is getting harder and harder to keep healthy. The extended season with the present playoff format makes it even harder.
  19. Dan Heefner has been the head coach at DBU for 18 years now. He is a very good coach and usually does more with less, for success. I have bad memories of a Regional they hosted that Texas went to in 2015. Heefner is nearly always a name that pops up when a head coaching job at a bigger school becomes vacant. So far, he keeps staying put because he likes where he is and what he has there.
  20. Louisville walks it off with two runs in the bottom of the tenth to win 4-3. So, no big momentum for the Wildcats heading into the series with Texas.
  21. The other interesting score of the night in the SEC is our next opponent Kentucky. They scored in the top of the tenth to take the lead 3-2 on the road at #16 Louisville. We remember Louisville from the opening day loss to them.
  22. Moffit could be so good if he learns to command his pitches.
  23. Ty and Keith Moreland really know the game and played for Texas. Sometimes they have a little trouble expressing that knowledge, doesn't bother me.
  24. Brumley will always be remembered for his grand slam at the 1983 CWS against Michigan to come from behind and win and keep them undefeated. That Michigan team had Barry Larkin and Chris Sabo on it. Then Brumley caught a high pop up for the final out against Alabama that won the title that year for Texas.
  25. Brumley could really run. When he did his legs kind of flared out. Team gave him the nickname of Pup.
