  1. Devan Pryor sighting?
  2. On pace for the expected double-digit loss.
  3. Even take Pope out for possibly the last Florida possession and Larry lets the same guy go right by him for a layup, turrible.
  4. Dribble drive buckets just never stop. Pope getting abused and then our bigs in foul trouble can't stop it, if they could anyway.
  5. Come on Vogel, Texas went 7 + minutes without scoring against OU and won. But this isn't OU, Florida isn't playing well at all and still leading.
  6. Till he fouls out, which might be the first half, it's what he does.
  7. Shades of OU so far, ugly basketball on both sides. This favors Texas, might need an occasional rebound though.
  8. Texas will have to shoot a high percentage for the entire game and not have a scoring drought for multiple minutes. Have to win the turnover battle. Foul trouble is a real possibility in this game with the physical play of Florida for Texas. Probably going to again get killed on the boards. This isn't OU that refused to take control of that game when Texas tried over and over to give it to them. It doesn't look good.
  9. Luke Harrison going from almost unusable last season to a Saturday starter is a big development. If Mercer can get healthy and maybe become a possible closer this pitching staff will really start to come together. Rodriguez is a switch hitter and gives you another lefty hitter against right-handed pitching, along with Winfield and Belyeu. Trying to get as many bats in the lineup as possible, Schuessler has been the leading hitter on the team, so he gets the nod at first, when not catching. Farmer was giving Gasparino a real battle for centerfield. If Gasparino goes cold with the bat, Farmer could get some playing time.
  10. What a year so far for OU! BOOMER!
  11. Terry Curse > Balloon Snakes, goes 8-0 against OU. This game goes directly to ESPN classics!
  12. This is comical you take it, no you take it. I insist you take it.
  13. Pope vs. the World!
  14. Better put the white kid back in the game to guard Pope!
  15. Unbearable bad play by Texas against unstoppable suck of OU, it's a tossup.
  16. Jersey Number7 Dayton Forsythe PositionG Academic Year Fr.Height 6' 2'' Weight 187 lbs This guy on Pope is keeping Texas ahead for now.
  17. Is this game a no win or no-lose situation for Texas?
  18. Texas is making a suck run.
  19. Shedrick throws a better block than anybody on that pitch out against OSU.
  20. You forget the Terry curse over OU, he was blessed by Peter Gardere.
  21. Fire Moser! Can't wait till softball season. Some are worse off than Texas it seems. Can't blow this lead to this OU bunch, can we?
  22. Not suitable for prime time because this game is rated pg-13.
  23. This is a good deal for Texas Baseball and Softball. They make original, grape, apple, strawberry and raspberry flavors. Would think they might have made an orange or burnt orange flavor for this deal. University of Texas Athletics Announces Sponsorship with Big League Chew featuring Exclusive Texas Longhorns Packaging Dec 17, 2024 Austin, TX — December 17, 2024 —The University of Texas announced today that it is welcoming Big League Chew, the one and only shredded bubble gum, as a sponsor of the Texas Baseball and Softball programs. As part of this collaboration, Big League Chew will launch the officially licensed “Longhorns Pack,” a first-of-its-kind co-branded packaging featuring a collegiate athletics program. Known for its iconic shreds and stay-fresh pouch, Big League Chew’s Texas Longhorns themed graphics put a burnt orange spin on the classic package, including options featuring both Longhorns baseball and softball player caricatures. Big League Chew has been a staple for generations of baseball and softball players and fans, and the collaboration unites one of America’s most beloved bubble gum brands with Texas’ prestigious programs. Longhorn fans will be able to find the product in H-E-B, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and other Central Texas retailers in the coming weeks. As a sponsor of the Longhorns, Big League Chew will receive high-visibility benefits that bring the brand into the heat of the game. In addition to being featured in the dugouts of Texas’ baseball and softball teams, Big League Chew will have a prominent presence at both UFCU Disch-Falk Field and Red & Charline McCombs Field, including ads on all baseball and softball mobile tickets, and digital and static in-venue signage throughout the ballparks. Texas Athletics and Big League Chew are also exploring influencer marketing partnerships with Longhorns student-athletes. “We’re excited to announce the sponsorship with Big League Chew and their integration into the upcoming baseball and softball season,” said Lucas Motta, Vice President of Longhorn Sports Properties. “This unique partnership introduces the first licensed gum product of its kind that will be available at major retailers for all Texas Longhorn fans and alumni to enjoy.” Texas Athletics and Big League Chew worked closely to develop this partnership with athletics multimedia rights holder Longhorn Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics – and the Collegiate Licensing Company, a division of Learfield and the University of Texas’ exclusive trademark licensing agent. About Big League Chew Sitting in a bullpen in Oregon in the summer of 1977, Portland Maverick lefthander Rob Nelson came up with an idea that has had a lasting impact on the game of baseball: shredded bubble gum in a stay-fresh pouch. Since hitting the shelves in 1980, Big League Chew has produced and sold more than one billion pouches and is designated as the “Hall of Fame Bubble Gum” by the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. Big League Chew is proudly made in the USA by Ford Gum, a top manufacturer and co-manufacturer of assorted gums, confections, and health-related products for leading American brands.
