  1. First ever win against UK for Texas MBB.
  2. There's no jinxing this, Kentucky looks completely confounded.
  3. When the Vegas line substantially subverts your expectations, pay attention.
  4. I don't know if Zach Barnett has special insight on this or not just in the FootballScoop article posted above he said Orphey was hired as cornerbacks coach.
  5. It is worth noting Texas is a 2.5-point favorite against UK today. They'd be on the right side of the bubble with a win.
  6. The average fan still indexes program health disproportionately on tournament success. Look at how Kevin Keatts won his way off the hot seat despite six entirely forgettable years before the Final Four run (and look at where NC State is now).
  7. Schloss following in the footsteps of Augie and Gus by losing his first game coaching at UT.
  8. Can Spencer kick field goals?
  9. No. I was thinking someone who already has NFL experience, so Flood, Baker, or Jackson
  10. Nahlin just posted that there's another potential staff defection to the NFL in the wings.
  11. https://www.flocollege.com/signup?redirect=%2Flive%2F148115&utm_campaign=699829texasvslouisvil&utm_medium=partner&utm_source=multiple&utm_content=signup&contract_id=0061n00000fdwxdqae&coverage_id=13096098&sp=
  12. This could all be academic because I'm not sure Texas makes the tournament if they can't beat Kentucky at home tomorrow.
  13. The only way this makes sense is that CDC likes to hit home runs and he doesn't think he can hit a home run this cycle for whatever reason (UNC (maybe)/Indiana competition, wants more data on other candidates, etc).
  14. Blue was a Drayton-era recruit. Was already committed for the Class of 2022 when Choice was hired.
  15. IT with a slightly more conservative take on RT's future:
  16. They are working it out. https://variety.com/2025/digital/news/youtube-tv-blackout-cbs-paramount-contract-dispute-1236306884/
  17. The original take was terrible but this guy was a warm body we were forced to scrounge up after losing two RBs to season-ending injuries.
  18. Just to follow up on this - I do realize that the set of events that led to Pope going to Kentucky also included Calipari going to Arkansas, Musselman to USC, and Enfield to SMU, but I am not sure that Texas fans want to make the sort of hire where the coach is getting out of Dodge as much as he is getting hired away. I ddi omit a couple moves involving Big East coaches - Kevin Willard (Seton Hall to Maryland) and Ed Cooley (Providence to Georgetown).
