  1. next one we see will be 7'2" and throws 107.
  2. The same could really be said about firing Beard.
  3. if my math is right Bing has thrown 14 pitches the last 2 innings.
  4. So the question is if RT shows that he underachieved with this team all year, should he keep his job?
  5. I think he was talking about him having an injury.
  6. Looks like possibly severe thunderstorms in Starkville Saturday. Maybe Friday night too.
  7. I can severely vouch for El Ultimo Taco in Brownsville. Better than anything I have had in San Antonio.
  8. Can somebody quote the OP’s post for me? I can’t see it.
  9. Yeah I was sitting on the floor in Jester East playing Donovan Pitts some Atari and heard this voice like James Earl Jones and looked up and Edwin was towering over behind me. He was imposing as hell. I think he ended up selling cars somewhere…when he was wearing clothes.
  10. Daughter is 30 they just throw a party every 5 years.
  11. I think it is about immamac reading Mein Kampf in the evenings as a way to shut out the outside world.
  12. Me too. But that happens when you have a one year old grandchild.
  13. Had to google Nell Korda.
  14. During the run and before he was hired there was a very strong amount of “if you don’t hire him it is going to look bad” alluding to the reason it would look bad was because he was black. It was what it was.
  15. i think i would have to count qb throws.
  16. I believe the first Bama player to score a TD in a Super Bowl also happened tonight. Could be wrong.
  17. We loved it. The place was dead when we arrived at 8:30 am but really livened up. There were 8 different mariachi groups in the main plaza, which made my Mexican GF happy which made me happy. Just a real good vibe. The street and Mercado food game was a little week compared to the other places we have stayed (Reforma, Coyoacán and Queretaro), but we did zero research beforehand so might have not stumbled into the right area. The town will remind you of some places in Italy and Spain as far as the hills in town. I think the one thing I wouldn’t do would be to get a place above town where you had to walk everyday up that hill (not because of my legs, but my ears having to hear about it the whole way up). If you are going to be there a month, I would go check Queretaro for a couple days. We are in the Centro Historico and love it. Just added 10 days to our stay here. There is a Mercado called La Cruz a few blocks away that is a treasure trove of cheap, great food. Best tacos I have had in our 3 weeks so far have been there. If there are any other gringos in there I have not seen them.
  18. White people aren’t the reason HEB sells so many of those in Texas. I do think here in Mexico corn tortillas are more of a thing.
  19. Will be there in a couple hours, but only for the day. Never been, so looking forward to seeing the hype.
  20. Ha. This has been in my fridge at my airbnb in Queretaro, Mexico this week. Been lovin it. I think there are 4 HEB's in this town. We checked one out yesterday. Was very nice. But for some reason they didn't do the hot, fresh HEB tortillas. Instead they had a popcorn section where a lady was popping it fresh and bagging it up.
  21. Stick on point. This is the immamac is a facist thread. If you want to start an immamac is a fuckin idiot thread go ahead.
  22. I would like to see him script the first 60 plays. The first 15 seem to be pretty good.
  23. Yeah we didn’t book but first three nights because we wanted to check out the neighborhoods. Will be here 6-7 weeks and didn’t want to get stuck somewhere.
  24. Thanks, didn’t even need a jacket last night. Short sleeve shirt was fine. Centro was crazy busy last night. Free concert in the Zocalo for an apparently big deal old school Argentinian singer Fito Paez. Kept my head on a swivel. Uber from airport at 6 pm from Gate 7 at terminal 1. Cost was an incredible $10. It took the guy close to an hour because of the traffic. He kept going off script from his route to get around the traffic to Centro. The app has tip amounts set at 25 cents, 50 cents and 75 cents (in pesos). The most they allow to custom tip in the app is $7.50. A little about the immigration process at the airport only because it was a little confusing to me since I was expecting to deal with an immigration agent. There are 3 lines. Americans use the left lane as well as some other countries. You make it to a kiosk where you scan your passport and look at a screen which takes a picture to compare. It spits out a piece of paper that includes information about when you got here and when you have to leave by (180 days). You must keep the paper to present when leaving the country. Then these clear doors open and you just walk thru and are on your way. I was confused because some people the doors wouldn’t open for them and they had to get in line for an agent. We didn’t have our passports stamped, just have this little piece of paper. First 3 nights in the Centro, then we will decide where for rest of the stay, probably La Condesa or Roma Norte like everybody else.
