  1. Texas State beat Okie State 4-2 tonight
  2. Wild game as well, they put up 11 runs in the 9th inning
  3. UTRGV just beat #20 Dallas Baptist 15-5
  4. Would like to see Max Grubbs start next Sunday, not an indictment on Bing as he will have better days but I feel like Grubbs earned a weekend spot after last year All in all a great weekend
  5. He's out, go eat another burger Holliday
  6. Geez... ball was outside but that ump has fucked us all night with that
  7. The fact that we are paying Cody Howard to play baseball here is incredible because I would pay him to walk across to the other dugout right now
  8. That is a tough ball to read off the bat
  9. Cody Howard making this roster is easily the biggest surprise for me. No idea what Schloss and Max saw in him
  10. Favorite thing about Borba is he is almost always ready to hit a fastball
  11. He has not but it’s been 3 right handed starters this weekend. Still surprised he hasn’t played this weekend
  12. If Ole Miss could run rule that would be nice
  13. Clemson getting taken behind the woodshed right now, 10-2 Ole Miss
  14. Hopefully Kade pitches well, will be interesting to see how the bullpen shakes out going forward. Think we already found out Ruger is going to be our Gage this year. Will Mercer going to slot into the back end just fine. I think Dre will be fine Schloss just needs to learn he isn't a house fire guy, give him a clean 6th or 7th and Dre will easily give this team 30ish quality innings this year out of the pen. This team has a lot of pitching, now it is just about finding out who can perform when the bullets are live. At the end of last season I put Luke Harrison in the Cody Howard category of need to hit the portal so watching Luke dominate the strike zone yesterday with a fastball topping 90mph was pretty incredible given what he displayed last year.
  15. I think Kimble only had 24 walks or right around that. Kimble had more walks Mendoza had less strikeouts. May end up being a moot point would like more speed up there but just my personal preference. I remember Jared hit .200 his 1st month as a Freshman batting in the bottom 1/3 of the order and then conference play hit and it was like a light switch flipped. Got bumped to leadoff shortly after. Hopefully could see something similar with Rodriguez preferably skipping over the hittting .200 for a month part
