  1. Jesus Christ, even saw the hesitation from the ump, “fuck, sorry kid I’ve gotta ring you up on that one”
  2. Lucas got hosed that whole AB
  3. Should be Lucas last batter no matter what here
  4. Only way you are hitting that curveball is if you are sitting on it.
  5. Probably looking to get one more inning out of Lucas at best.
  6. Kid has a helluva curveball
  7. Is there plan to use Dixon in relief if there is a game 3? This is an odd move, though Dowd is a really good arm
  8. Story of Daly’s season
  9. Dixon pitching well, need to just start getting aggressive on the first pitch, pretty much throws a get me over fastball to start every batter.
  10. This is a tough matchup for Lucas, he has got to try and battle for 5 or 6 so we can get to Zane or Charlie.
  11. Lucas is going to have to battle against this lineup, 6 righties and a switch hitter. Going to need to feature that curveball a little more today.
  12. Not a fan of Eric still batting 6th but I’ll live. Probably means he’s going to homer in his first AB today.
  13. There isn’t more than a 15% chance of rain at any point today in Baton Rouge yet they are in a weather delay…
  14. Assuming this is it?
  15. Hell of a play by Denton
  16. Good play by the second baseman. See guys lose their composure in that situation all the time
  17. Wow. Wonder what happened there
  18. One of the more impressive coaching jobs in college baseball having to build that program from the ground up in the ACC which can be a meat grinder. Miami would be smart to give Pollard a look as well.
  19. Historical ranking based on past success and where a job ranks on how attractive it would be to a coach now are two different things. Miami dwarfs Tennessee in terms of historical success as a baseball program but you could make the very real argument that Tennessee is currently a more attractive job than Miami. Using this example because I’ve seen Miami fans floating Vitello’s name around. Arizona State is another program that historically is really good but most coaches right now would put 20-25 programs ahead of Arizona State on the pecking order
  20. When you go 6-8 in those 4 appearances the heat is going to get turned up
  21. Oral Roberts has two great arms that are both draft eligible, Cade Denton and Jacob Widener, will be interesting to see what they do.
  22. He has a lot to like about him. Has the potential to be a Pete Hansen type arm, similar delivery, similar frame. Not worried about how he fared against Texas because if we get him he won’t be playing Texas. Hurley wasn’t some polished elite arm from USC, he still isn’t, but he has a lot of things you like, I’m sure they saw a little Lebarron in him.
