  1. That looked like a strike
  2. This game is about to get interesting with Selvig and Harrison set to come in
  3. Lebarron threw 42 pitches yesterday, will be interesting to see what his role is going forward
  4. They have been without JJ Weatherholt for most of the season. Wouldn’t be shocked if they started rattling off some series wins now that he is back
  5. We do not, hence the annoyance
  6. South Carolina Upstate beat #2 Clemson 9-5 tonight William & Mary beat #7 Duke
  7. More the annoyance of having to waste an arm for those 3 outs. Could probably just run Cade back out there
  8. Hopefully it hit the top of his hand and not the pinky
  9. The conundrum with LBJ as well is they sit there and every AB is fastballs at the knees and sliders off the plate. He needs to be moving that fastball around but he doesn’t have the command to do that. So Pierce is pretty much damned if you do and damned if you don’t when it comes to his plan of attack
  10. He just has absolutely no confidence in himself or his ability
  11. This is sad to watch with Lebarron.
  12. I’m about ready to lead the search party for Peyton Powell.
  13. I like that the team is running today. Pressure, pressure, and more pressure. Hopefully we continue to be this aggressive on the bases going forward
  14. Forecast looks like they will be able to get most of the game in
  15. If the games don't get rained out they don't get rained out, but honestly this Texas team could use a mid-week free week as opposed to another 5 game week. This group needs a reset
  16. Regardless of what happens I just hope CDC keeps in mind the advantage Texas can give themselves by positioning itself as the biggest player in college baseball out west. With the PAC 12 dissolving, a lot of these west coast kids are going to be looking for somewhere to go. It will be interesting to watch and see just how committed Oregon State stays to baseball and what Pat Casey built.
  17. This conference is a shit show this year
  18. Frank has been around a lot of great baseball minds, when Vitello got hired it sorta stuck out to me that he would want to hang around with a 37/38 year old 1st year HC and rebuild an SEC doormat that hadn't been to the NCAA Tournament in 15 years. Certainly opinion, but you could argue he has done the best coaching job of anybody since he took that job in 2018. Frank is 65 but he is one of the best in the business and would just be an added bonus if Vitello is the direction CDC goes. Plus he is going to ride out the rest of his days as an assistant so you have stability on that front.
  19. Curious as to why? People still not over the 2021 prop celebrations?
  20. O'Connor is good to, my list was also centered around guys that I feel like would have no problem leaving their current situation. Anything is possibly but I have a hard time seeing O'Connor just up and leaving a place he has been 20 years.
  21. I like Canham, Oregon State is his home but the demise of the Pac 12 probably makes him more attainable than he otherwise would be
  22. I like his track record as a pitching coach, success on the mound has followed him everywhere he has been. He is more of a change of pace addition as he is 52 years old. He is more of a shot in the dark hire of the 3 for sure.
  23. Feel like this thread is appropriate for this discussion, so I’ll ask. If CDC pulls the trigger at the end of the year, who are your top 3? Just curious to see what other people are thinking For me it’s: 1. Tony Vitello 2. Rob Vaughn 3. Wes Johnson
  24. No, Schloss was there before CDC got there
