  1. Chris Simms v Major Applewhite 2.0. Fuck you Steve Sarkisian… Fuck You
  2. Nothing to even say. Who knows when Texas will field a competent football program again. This coaching staff looks worse than anything Tom Herman ever put on the field
  3. This is what pussy ass programs with no leadership look like when they get hit with adversity.
  4. IMO Iowa has always had a classic clean looking uniform. The logo, the black and yellow, the fact that it is simple and they don’t Oregon it up. Just a really clean look.
  5. We are the way we are because since Texas can remember they’ve wore the big bad evil empire label, really for very little reason at all. Up until the news broke that Texas was heading to the SEC, Texas had been in 2 conferences (SWC and Big 12) since 1915. Yet anywhere you go Texas is this evil entity pillaging college athletics that leaves conferences destroyed in its wake. I’ll say similarly to what Huckleberry was saying, just like the Big 12s lack of leadership, Texas biggest issue under Dodds is he just didn’t give a fuck about Texas public perception. Oklahoma and Nebraska were more selfish than Texas and OU during their time in the Big 12 and Dodds pretty much just stood there and let them slander Texas in the court of public opinion and didn’t do a damn thing to combat it simply because they (Texas administration) were arrogant. I think this current administration led by Del Conte had enough of the rest of the schools biting the hand that fed them and took their ball to the SEC and said good luck, will give you a real reason to hate us. Not saying you have to love us, genuine hate and passion between the white lines is what makes college sports great, but the hate for Texas amongst the Big 12 schools ran way deeper than that and much of it was based on the bullshit spewed by the 4 schools that left (mainly NEB and A&M) Iowa isn’t as worthless as you think they are if you see past the hate. Iowa has only had two losing seasons since 2000 and have six 10 win seasons in that same time period. Iowa has been a pretty solid football program since 1980 especially when you look at the fact that they have been sandwiched by historical powers in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State.
  6. .19-.24 mark. This thread made me remember this video, had me dying the first time I heard it
  7. But…but… they were 3-0 at Globe Life in February don’t you remember. Then won the SEC regular season title outright, then the conference tournament, then… did what Arkansas does and choked once again. Rinse and repeat
  8. Texas (Mensa coached) 28-21 Georgia (SEC runner up) LSU (national champs) 45- 38 Texas (Mensa coached) For reference that same team beat you 56-20 baw. Sounds like y’all still haven’t gotten used to the big bad brutality of the SEC. It’s not as hard as you blowhards make it out to be. It honestly might help Texas because Texas historically has faired well against the best in college football and slip up against the .500 team that you don’t get up for.
  9. Hate to break it to you but do you know who your OC is and arguably the most vital part of the Veer and Shoot offense?
  10. Head over to the Rant lol. Have Arkansas people claiming they are going to whip our ass with Tyrone Swoo... I mean KJ Jefferson at QB.. Truly an odd bunch.
  11. I thought about ripping this post to shreds but it is so illiterate I don’t even know where to begin. Have a good day sir, I hope Walmart doesn’t fire you when they see this post.
  12. No but they are 60th in 247 composite team talent which is behind a lot of schools that include SMU, Memphis, Oregon State, Boston College, Illinois, and….Vanderbilt…
  13. It’s your first sellout in 4 years, color me shocked at who that sellout is against. You routinely play these BIG games yet you sellout against Texas and not Alabama? Seems odd
  14. Hudson mechanically has a lot of similarities to Baker in the way he throws the football. Probably has a lot to do with them both playing at Lake Travis. Biggest plus for me with Card yesterday was how quick the ball got to the target, no time for the defender to recover and come back to make a play on the ball.

    TEXAS QB TALK

Kelly Bryant transferred from Clemson, Hurts from Alabama, Murray/Hill from A&M, Fields/Eason from Georgia. Why is this even a topic every year? Guys want to play, you can only have one QB, the guy who loses the job will likely transfer. I don’t understand why this is such a hot topic every year. Casey is more than capable of winning games. I was even in the camp that thought we should start Casey and then usher in Card. Sark chose right, Casey will be our backup this year, transfer at the end of the year (good luck to him), and next year will be about getting Charles Wright and Maalik Murphy ready to be the backup. Casey has 2 years of eligibility left whether he throws a tantrum and cleans his locker out today or plays in every game the rest of the season. If he chooses to leave now he is getting really bad advice.
  16. We are not only more talented, but it feels good to be outcoaching someone for a change. Whittington and the rest of the receiving core have made some nice catches that get taken for granted, catches that should be made by great teams but are by no means guaranteed
  17. Hudson has looked about as good as you could behind an OLine that is getting whipped. Seems like we’ve been in 2nd and 10 & 3rd and 10 all day and he has made quite a few plays
  18. The OLine isn’t as big of a question mark as you are stating. If anything, with the way the roster is laid out right now, pass protection being a weakness isn’t all that bad. If Bijan isn’t getting the ball 20-25 times a game then something has gone really really wrong. It’s much easier to scheme around poor pass protection than it is a group that can’t get a push up front. This Louisiana team is getting a lot of play because Iowa State shit down their leg. Who knows what is going to happen tomorrow but it will be very surprising if Texas doesn’t ultimately win by 2 touchdowns tomorrow. For me personally, the Arkansas game will be the first checkpoint to see if this team has grown up and turned a little corner. I would imagine most kids if not every player on Texas roster has no idea just how deep that hate runs for Texas in Arkansas. That place will be fairly hostile and will probably be the most hostile environment they play in all year excluding the RRR which is 50/50.
  19. Money will ultimately be the deciding factor and if the PAC, B1G, or ACC came calling OKST would be gone the next day but there are upsides to the Big 12 competitively speaking for Oklahoma State in football. I wouldn’t say Oklahoma State’s chances of winning a national title get better or worse going to a P4 conference. Do your chances of beating Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, or Georgia go up because you are in a P4 conference versus being in the Big 12? I get your point in recruiting but I’d say TCU and Boise State are perfect examples of building programs in lesser conferences and then letting the chips fall where they may when you get your shot at the end of the year. It’s not like Oklahoma State has made a living reeling in blue chip recruits in the past. Gundy takes the overlooked 4 star and 3 star kids and develops them. This is all mute if Oklahoma State gets a call from the P4, they would undoubtedly take the money but in the short term I don’t think the proposed 12 team Big 12 is the end of the world for Oklahoma State. Especially if you lead the charge to keep it at an 8 game conference schedule so you have more flexibility to bring in marquee opponents out of conference because Oklahoma State would be an attractive non conference game for a Notre Dame, Alabama, Ohio State etc…
  20. Depending on whether Oklahoma State is willing to stomach the financial loss, it wouldn’t be the worst thing from a competitive standpoint in football to stay in the Big 12 and play an 8 game conference slate with 4 non conference games. If I was the Big 12 I’d add Cincinnati, BYU, Houston, and UCF. With the inevitable playoff expansion, if you win the Big 12 you are likely in the playoff and you’ve got a shot at winning it all regardless of how small you feel the chances of actually winning it all are.
