  1. I think in this case, religion is simply irrelevant (regardless of your views on religion). The point is, American citizens were peacefully demonstrating against Trump and the pussy sent his minions to shut them down.
  2. Not to relitigate the argument for impeachment, but I don't see how anyone can say its weak to impeach when he won't get convicted by the senate. Its weak not to impeach. If impeached by the house and not convicted in the senate, it will make the majority of Americans more outraged at the shitty GOP senators. Even those who do not pay too close attention know the Dems control the house and the GOP controls the senate, in other words the people will know exactly why he didn't get convicted and the voters that matter will be pissed about it. Get the senators on record so they all have a target on their backs, give the Dem candidates a major talking point, etc.
  3. I know he is not assigned to certain positions, but I thought he helped close all defensive prospects
  4. I thought the conventional wisdom on him was that he's a good recruiter in general? You may be right that he's losing the specific pitch about D-line position, but hasn't he done well with LB's and DB's?
  5. You mean stuff like, the Russians interfered in our election and Trump's people tried to help them? I remember that, what a load of horse shit. Seriously dude, Hugo is one of the only posters that doesn't engage in personal attacks and posts actual information. Nobody buys your schtick
  6. just donated to her again
  7. Why can't congress the House block spending by the WH at Trump properties, which is simply theft from the American people out in the open?
  8. Thats amazing its that close with all the other candidates before the campaign has really begun. Biden is going to fade quickly once name recognition of the other top candidates catches up
  9. Trump will be destroyed in the 2020 election. Everyone in congress knows this. Unless the R's can save some serious face, they are looking at losing the presidency and the senate, to go with the house. They know this. I think they are maintaining the party line right now to avoid deciding what to do, waiting as long as possible to see what other news comes out and where public opinion is headed. But on the current trajectory, the GOP is fucked. I agree they are evil fucks. But if the above is true, it would be in the Senate's best interest to convict, try to claim some moral high ground which gives them a chance to save senate seats and run a candidate for president that has a better chance than Trump.
  10. Throwing out another game-theory possibility of what's going on re: impeachment and the next election. The both the Dems and GOP know that Dotard is going to get killed in 2020. But the GOP knows that trying to primary him is a long shot and probably wouldn't happen. So the best chance for the GOP in 2020 is for him to be impeached + senate conviction so they can run someone else. The Dems know this too, and they would rather secure 2020 than kick Trump out for one year. So their strategy is to drag out all of the shit on Trump and continually remind everyone that he is an impeachable shitstain, even if they do not go through with it. That solidifies 2020 for them, whereas impeachment has a lot of unknowns associated with it: will it blow back on them in the court of public opinion? Will the senate convict, and GOP unite behind a centrist candidate to counter the huge, divided field of democratic candidates? etc. If there is another GOP candidate, he/she will probably lose too, but at least they have a chance. With Trump they have no chance.
  11. Pretty subtle "both sides" there junior
  12. Donated to her a couple days ago
  13. I say this with love -- you keep referring to "the blacks" and its making me cringe. Simply "blacks" will do just fine.
  14. aren't you looking for the dumbass shit on Facebook thread?
  15. That the best endorsement any of Dotard's employees could ask for
  16. Others have sort of answered your questions, but this is how I would put it in simple terms: 1) While he found at least 10 instances of obstruction of justice, he did not bring any criminal charges against potus because, as a DOJ employee, he is bound by DOJ policy of not indicting a sitting president [another edit -- Mueller explicitly stated in the report that he did not bring charges due to that policy] 2) As a prosecutor (part of the executive branch) he has nothing to do with impeachment -- a congressional determination -- which is why he did not make any recommendation about impeachment. [Edit: of course congress can use any and all evidence at its disposal, including the Mueller report, when making a determination to impeach]
  17. https://www.needtoimpeach.com has this been posted/discussed?
  18. I'm sure thats true but they don't need to understand the process to support getting rid of the fucker
  19. I think what's holding them back is polling that says only 39% of Americans support impeachment. I find that hard to believe, but then again I thought there was no way in hell we would elect him. When did we enter the Upside Down?
  20. . The opposition had lost the trust of most Venezuelans, 80 percent of whom want Maduro gone https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2019/01/24/venezuelas-mafia-state-under-nicolas-maduro-collapsing-column/2668693002/
  21. "Military coup attempt"-- say what? What military? "there weren't even mass-killings or military lockdowns" -- He's a despot, not a retard. As soon as he starts mass killing his people is when foreign militaries show up big time. Why can't you think a little bit and realize that 1) opposing meddling by the U.S. and 2) acknowledging that Maduro has ruined his country and is only holding on to power because the military is in his pocket, are not inconsistent
  22. Not at all what I said. They are there to make a profit, just like in any other location anywhere in the world. And the mineral owners/nonoperating participants get their royalties, just like everywhere else. Whats hard to understand about that?
  23. I've already posted a source of those figures above and I've seen that 80% number in a lot of places. In addition to reports of millions of Venezuelans taking to the streets to protest Maduro. "a series of protest marches drawing crowds which were reported by The Economist, The Wall Street Journal editorial board, and Yeshiva World News from hundreds of thousands to millions of Venezuelans" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Venezuelan_protests So, written reporting (from Time mag, Economist, etc) explaining the situation in great detail = bad, but "videos and photographs" (again, no actual source) = good. IIRC, upthread you asserted photos of protests were supporters of Maduro when they were reported as protests of Maduro. Whatever man. Believe whatever you want.
  24. If this were true, then every oil and gas lease ever signed would be "stealing the oil revenue" from the mineral owners. GTFO with that shit. Multinational oil companies were operating in Venezuela because those companies are the ones with the resources and expertise to produce o&g. They paid royalties just like in any other case anywhere else in the world. They are actually allowing the o&g to be monetized because Venezuelans have demonstrated they can't produce it on their own.
  25. Are in in Venezuela? What are you trusting with your eyes?
