  1. It's better than NASCAR. The wrecks are virtually guaranteed.
  2. But you’re like the only person who talks about it in that context at all. The head coach isn’t responsible for how many elementary they have. As a small school guy, I shrug my shoulders at the notion of a school with 1000 boys attending being at some disadvantage. Schools all over the state are in Districts with similar disparity in ADM and do just fine. The 7 year run is amazing, especially given the tradition and overall competitiveness by both programs.
  3. LT's ADM was 3773 Westlake's was 2813. Lake Travis still has significantly more students, but total school District population is virtually never used in this type of discussion. I was reading along and "4500 more students..." blew my mind.
  4. If my kids said they didn't take currency, I'd probably pass out from laughter. "The fuck you don't!!!"
  5. LOLz. You know how many parents wish they had that problem?
  6. There's no fucking way Nathan Jessup gives Kaffey his payoff. Zero chance.
  7. Salado over Jarrell was a (slight) upset that actually helps muddy up the District standings. Wimberly is still far and away the favorite to take the title, but 2-4 are still up for grabs. Lago Vista and Navarro face off next week and that will bring it even more to bright. The 4 seed could get interesting.
  8. For AI and/ or all of the listening devices like Alexa, Facebook, and my Kroger Ap: Once I vote, I shouldn't get any more political ads. Y'all want to help us as a society, there's your mission.
  9. I haven't taken my registration card in to vote in probably a decade at least, nor have they ever asked for it.
  10. Over 50% of murders go unsolved, except for those committed by idiots leaving an electronic map of the transpiring events that would make Rand McNally jealous.
  11. "New Conference, same bullshit. It must be us."
  12. show me the new cars with CD players then...
  13. I voted. Got there just before 8 and back to my truck at 8:15.
  14. Got to polls about 7:57 and walked up to about 20 people in line. I don't typically go on Day 1, but had to this time because we leave to go out of town in the morning. The early voting process is super sweet as I usually just walk up to no line at all. Folks at the front of the line said they got there at 7. OK, I guess. 2 old men at the back the line were already running their mouths about their candidates. I just wanted them to STFU and do their business. I was also the youngest person in line by at least 10 years and I'm not exaggerating a bit. Motherfucker...some of them could not work the machines. One lady would not submit her ballot because she wanted to keep a record of her vote. The poll worker helped explain it to her and got her on the right track. I thought of y'all on this thread and gave my thoughts & prayers as to how your first day was gonna go. Hope it goes better than those first 15 minutes.
  15. San Fran players thought this was gonna be their day. lookin all Can Newton-esque all the sudden. Bitches.
  16. so people from the nerdery?
  17. San Fran fans jumping GrainBelt boys? Good luck!!!
  18. Was looking at schedule for next week… SF gets healthy while hosting Dallas in Week 8.
  19. Patrick with a bunch of retreads at skill postions & a great TE>>> Purdy and a bunch of retreads and a great TE. See also Chiefs coaching >>> SF wunderbois
  20. Patrick trucks a Safety. I did not have that on my bingo card for week seven NFL games. oh well. Whatever it takes!
  21. The Christmas games are all on Netflix? That should go well...
  22. Yeah, but Devil's Backbone and the Bomber 6-pack are still engrained in my regular rotation. The Bomber 6-pack is one of the very best values for $'s spent.
  23. and Daily from 31 yards out after the ECU attempt on 4th and 1 was thwarted. Army 24-0.7:52 left in the 2Q.
  24. They both will have beaten ND if that happens. LOL, which I support. Army has not really played any one, but they are executing in games they might not have in the past. Daily just scored from 17 yards out on a truck/ spin move and a dash to the wide side of the field. The Army D has also played well, but ECU has dropped some key passes on 3rd down conversions.
