  1. JV Joey made me laugh. Haven't been a McGuire believer. Still not. Can't put my finger on it, but probably most related to talking a lot of shit and underdelivering. Win some games you shouldn't win. Bring value. THEN say something snarky.
  2. We need to pass the hat and get Wulaw an Espada jersey... Junk is such a great name for a pitcher.
  3. Getting destroyed by one margarita.- Astros medical staff
  4. "Is that a dildo, or are you just happy to be frisked?"
  5. Just make sure it ain't real quick... Admittedly cavemanish in my thoughts, but the public fucking square in front of the courthouse could still serve a purpose other than parking.
  6. Dem Gurriel boys can hits. No doubt there.
  7. Wordle 1,509 2/6 ⬜⬜🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  8. Sometime in October, Espada will mosey on by Abreu, "Remember Miami???"
  9. walks are my favorite...
  10. It's the 8th Inning. We must...
  11. One more out. Let's go!
  12. Cheryl Astros willing to give up first HR ball for Marsee for signed ball and bat. LOL
  13. dotting the I. Nice work.
  14. LOL Marlins official getting the "what-for" from usher. He's trying to get the 1st HR ball for Marsee. Astros lady is like, "Who the fuck are you?" LOL.
  15. Gotdam Dubon has to fucking call as a CF. Multiple X's now. I like Dubie plenty, but come the fuck on.
  16. wait... no jumpin fish in the outfield?
  17. That was for Ozzy...
  18. Swamp boxes for Yainer. Nice work, Sir. Marlin announcers giving credit to Espada for the righties in the lineup today.
  19. I get it, but I will never get used to using an "opener."
  20. The new CBA will be interesting and informative on many of these fronts.
  21. Like cursing/ assault by drill instructors; this is strictly forbidden but could also exist with complicity by all parties. Beyond some very superficial shit, my son has never spoken of hazing or certainly not demeaning treatment by superiors at WP. The schedule is a bitch. For athletes, it's even tougher. They don't have to add in hazing, again, beyond normal shit that happens to everyone.
  22. No. He leveraged his SASI( JROTC instructor) who was a great mentor to him. He also had family who were retired military with whom he touched base. I may be misremembering, but his local sponsor helped prep him for other things like the congressional board interview, but not the application letter. Nobody does it alone, that is for sure. He had lots of help along the way. One of the things he has enjoyed a lot in the civilian world is giving back and mentoring a handful of hopefuls. He also serves on a board supporting hiring veterans/ academy grads. Paying it forward is a big deal.
