  1. If it's aggy, it almost certainly involves more than one of em. Independent thought, and all.
  2. Possibly because they sat on their hands? Is it federal because the products are available in multi states? The deaths were not all in Tejas, no?
  3. My first bike was very similar to this. The rear tire was a "slick." Always that that was so cool. Rode the shit out of that thing...
  4. I'm almost Fiddy years old. The little boy in me still stops and looks at any plane/helicoptor/ ship/ barges/ trains. The sound of a single engine plane flying over somehow takes me back to being a youth, laying on the trampoline or on the grass and dreaming into the clouds and sky. It hearkens back to a 'less worrisome' time.
  5. Going to nasty ass Buffalo Springs Lake with my grandfather and staying at the cabin, fishing, skiing, hiking the canyons, and having a blast with my cousins. See also: family reunions at the Oddfellows Lodge campground in the Manzano Mountains just SE of Albuquerque. Playing hide &seek, riding 3-wheelers( and living to tell about it!,) camping out under the stars with cousins, and helping the men cook breakfast on a long open pit, wood fired griddle. That smell of campfire and eggs/ pancakes cooking will take me back to those times in a heartbeat. Edit: just read Shooter's post. same deal.
  6. We have been ordering from 2 of my favorite mom-pop shops every week. Tyler's BBQ is always 1/2# of brisket and 6 ribs. I sweatergawd they put a full pound of brisket in there every time. I love them. Another place that I don't want to name because they are great when everything is normal and I understand take-out for some foods is just gonna be challenging as fuck; but they make a double meat bacon cheeseburger that is one of my very favorite things to get, anywhere. Two times I have ordered it during the plague and I open it up...dried out patties, smaller than the bun. Wife orders a margarita pizza that has smoked tomatoes and is so good. We get it home and it's regular diced tomatoes...WTF? I understand supply chain; but say something... I want both of these places to make it, for sure. Our experiences have been vastly different.
  7. It also can't respect that small businesses are closed, but WalMarts are open... How crazy is that?
  8. If i think we should stay home, by God, everybody stays home. That's the headscratcher in all of this.
  9. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ you're never gonna be 3-4 deep with capable starters. Transfer portal out front shoulda told ya.
  10. like all the folks on the subways? The urbanites won that one in such a landslide, eh?
  11. well keeping everything shut down really worked, eh? Which way does the script say to go now?
  12. wrong. There's no fucking way you are confused on all of those. Quit being a bitch and just post your take.
  13. Hell, even when Navy plays Army, the Seniors' stipend is greater than that of the lower classmen. The notion of amateurism in college sports is a fantasy, as is that of 'fairness' and 'accountability.' Quit kicking the players in the balls and let them make a nickel on their own if they can do so.( not preaching at you)
  14. so where's the risk in letting the players market themselves? Texas stuff sells itself, right?
  15. it just comes down to whom is funding the science. There should be no murkiness, eh? It ain't all that confusing until ulterior motives influence things...but that'd never happen.
  16. I just (strenuously) doubt the effectiveness/ (swinging fists in the air as opposed to skilled boxing in a fight) of what we did and continue to do. We have no measure of what the benefit was/is; but we gotta keep doing it, dammit! This is the way... why?... because it makes us feel better inside.
  17. assumes lockdown in name only was already affecting/ impeding the spread of the virus. Virtually impossible to prove/ disprove the effectiveness when all manner of people were still going to retail grocery and home supply outlets. But we gotta buy-in on the lockdown right? Just so we can say we did something...
  18. or maybe real solutions have not even been part of the equation. Sounds harsh, but the reality supports the notion. There is some wildly inconsistent "prevention" going on.
  19. If you have a policy against offensive websites for your workplace, it doesn't mean you are for or against them It means don't view them at work, on company resources.
  20. No shit. Sorry we blasphemed your basketball Jesus. Gotdammit Derka. people even warned in the thread ahead of time. "Nah, he'll be reasonable." waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay fucking overestimated ya, brah. My apologies.
  21. Tech was so elite before Beard...Lol I don’t have to convince you bro. Your insults don’t make you correct either. Beard moved the Tech program infinitely more than your butt buddy Barnes ever did UT. He was a fantastic hire who has changed everything about Tech basketball in the positive sense. Barnes doesnt even work at Texas any more. thanks for fucking up the thread. You are soooooo reasonable. Lofl.
  22. you're not confused. You just disagree. Stop being a pussy about it and share your opinion. Neutral emojis...LOLz. #Rushlyrics
