  1. How the fuck would that 2nd down play possibly be targeting by the defender when he's fighting through a block and the RB initiates contact...in the hole? None of that play was remotely fucking targeting.
  2. He had 4 people in his kitchen before a saucepan was even out.
  3. Gameday just said game is still scheduled, but employees who office at the SuperDome/ Mercedes Dome whatever the fuck the name is were told not to come to work today. Follow up: Were they scheduled to work on NYD?
  4. Don't worry. There's a bout a 98% chance the person jumped up and hauled ass.
  5. "recreational exposure to infected birds or animals..."
  6. Oh there were a shit-ton of folks licking doorknobs to get their free vacations during covid.
  7. Married off a kid in ‘24, paid off 2 car notes and a Peloton that were 0% interest. My employer will stop contributing to my pension at the close of 2025, the time at which I will have 32 years of service. I’m in good shape there, with plans to keep working and increase my 401k going into 2026 because of a partial match they are adding in lieu of the straight up pension. I don’t want to retire until I am 63 at the earliest, unless circumstances change. For 2025, would like to avoid incurring any debt, as our mortgage is all we have on that column in the ledger. Want to treat wife to a nicer vacation, which some on this board might think is boring or cheap. Basically our travel is to both coasts to see our kids/ grandkids. I do know the wife would love to do Napa, so that is in the works. Again, a yawner for surly 2%ers, but nice for us. Yeah, biggest goal is no new debt and also build personal savings up to pre-wedding balance in 2025.
  8. Seed based on 1)9 conference games 2) CCG 3) OOC strength of schedule. 4)whatever polls/ rankings you want, if any Until scheduling is standardized, this conversation is little more than Herbstreit eye test horseshit. More objectivity is better.
  9. In the Northeast for Christmas. 5 adults, 1 two-year old toddler, and 1 two-month old infant. 2YO comes down with diagnosed Flu A on 23DEC. All local family visits/ Christmas canceled. We hunker down as a group, understanding exposure already occurred. On 24DEC one of the 20-something adults goes down with symptoms. On the afternoon/ evening of 25DEC, the two 30-something adult parents of the kiddos go down to symptoms. Bedridden through 26DEC. They return to humanity on 27th. On 30DEC, infant is diagnosed with Flu A. The parents and 2YO child had flu shot this season. My 50-something year old ass and wife have remained unscathed. Weird to us and everyone involved. I most definitely do NOT recommend flu-camp for Christmas ever again. Very sucky.
  10. Derka’s a great poster when it’s about sports. He puts his opinions out there and it drives conversation. When he feels slighted by someone else’s opinion, that’s when it can go sideways, in a hurry. Unfortunately he cannot ignore when folks deliberately engage that bullshit. If we were all in person, as opposed to keyboard; some of his detractors would be told to knock it the fuck off and stop being a bitch. As it is, he simply cannot resist answering back. Again, when he’s on, he brings a lot to the table. When he’s not, it sucks on many levels.
  11. Unless i have a tight connection, I really DGAF about front/ back. If I have an aisle seat, I'll trade for another aisle seat. I'm not switching to a middle or window seat though. I'm also a bigger guy, but not where I need 1/4 of the adjacent seat. That's a significant reason for my choice of a aisle seat: My comfort, but also that of other passengers.
  12. When it hits the nutria, the endtimes are near.
  13. Poulan Weedeater Bowl was my last ‘cool’ biwl sponsor.
  14. Navy is just as likely to get marauded by flying trailerhouse drones with piss missiles.
  15. Bowling Green with alligator blood. Just hangeeng around…hangeeng around. Fun game for the night cap.
  16. I am so exceptional, right? Borderline miraculous even.
  17. So you deny that solutions already exist? Of course you do. Reality beats the shit out of the narrative and victimology. For crisesakes we are some helpless motherfuckers. We are entirled to a 14 hour work week, a living wage( lolz,) and full healthcare…and price controls. It defies every economic law ever studied, but by-gawd it sounds fantastic!
