  1. I think the C/B on mine just never settled in quite right. SO, I overcompensated. I'm pretty damn happy with it.
  2. This is my new door.
  3. If you want to get started, google “the minion method” and burn a fire after you assemble it. Then repeat with a pork butt on. Then go back and read this thread while it’s smoking. And YouTube.
  4. Weird dude. Never mind.
  5. Hays County Smooth-Brain checking in. We had a couple of healthy trees split. The yard looks like shit with tree shrapnel everywhere. Husband was smart enough to put the truck in a car wash bay. No damage. I can’t believe we didn’t lose any windows or a skylight. We got lucky. I picked up 2-3 baseball sized hail pieces in our yard. That shit sounded like Armageddon when it hit. It looked like a tornado was next, but got lucky there too. Probably won’t be lucky with the roof but we’ll see.
  6. Baseball sized hail in Wimberley.
  7. Normally I would recommend Reata in Alpine, but my last visit in March was not good. Judy’s Bread and Breakfast never disappoints.
  8. Try Jack Allen’s or his fish place. All locations at this point.
  9. Seconded. I bet they look like little forensically preserved brains on toast. Can't wait.
  10. It's not just wives. My husband is a smart man. He refuses to act like an adult around a thermostat.
  11. Yes.
  12. I got caught in this. I refinanced my loan when I was advised that forgiveness would “never happen.” I was paying over 6% for a grad school loan for a public health degree. Refinanced to 4%. I still owe. I still work in public health and have for over 20 years. I more than qualify but cannot move my loan back.
  13. I have to laugh. Wordle 1,032 X/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟨🟩🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩
  14. That's one of the reasons I went online and I've had a great experience thus far. If you have a local compounding pharmacy, consider switching and asking for a cream if you'd rather keep it local. Also, the progesterone is filled with peanut oil so beware for those with allergies.
  15. She did one with The Mavericks that I love.
  16. Woodcreek?
  17. Damnit. I told my husband about this and now he calls my guitar a Martinez.
  18. Do you drive a white van?

And they probably will have better hours once they feel like they can. They have said they were open to it from the beginning. Folks that expand too quickly get so much shit on this site. Here we have an operation taking its time and while dealing with insane expectations (NY Times), yet they're getting more shit. Why? The Q is excellent. The owners seem young, but I think they've played this very well. Doesn't look like they're hurting.
  20. 'bout time.

I'll confess to ordering Lume. My sister gave me all kinds of shit about it because the women at her gym have all switched and it smells like ass. I like the shower gel, but good 'ole aluminum Old Spice FTW.
  22. I bet if you picked it up and played it, you might feel differently. I wasn't shopping for a Martin at all. Just a good guitar to continue taking lessons on to get me to the next step. This just happened to be the one and I think it stands up to the name with all the caveats.
  23. New Guitar! Martin 000-X2E. I love this thing. It's my first brand new guitar and I couldn't be happier with how it plays. It's MIM and there are some rough edges, but the sound is incredible. The top is spruce and the back and sides are some manufactured material making it very durable. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I wanted a G-45, but Strait had just sold it as I was walking in. Saved me a few hundred bucks.

https://khcbbq.com/ Avoid Coopers unless you get the pork chop. Black's is in NB, too. Avoid. I haven't been here in a while, but I haven't heard any bad reviews: http://www.hayscobbq.com/our-menu/
